This is a lovely site with wonderful views across the landscape. It has very well kept pitches and facilities and the scrupulously clean showers and toilets were fantastic. The site has two pubs within 5 minutes walking and the Monsall trail is easily accessible from here. We loved it and are looking forward to coming again

Really lovely campsite. We booked a hilltop pitch which had amazing view. However, if you are less mobile, a hillside pitch may be better because it is a fair hill to the amenities from the hilltop (this was not a problem for us). The facilities were immaculate and very modern. Nice little walk to the closest pub which served great food. Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

I’m glad it was my husband towing the caravan as I would have found it tight to pull in but once on it is a lovely little site and the facilities were spotless!

Great place, wardens extremely friendly. 5 min walk down to the pub. 10 minute drive into Bakewell. Wi-Fi very cheap (£1.50 for 2 day pass per phone) and Wi-Fi signal isn't weak. Bathroom facilities look brand new. Very well designed and immaculate. Great place will definitely use again, thanks.
Beautiful place!

Friendly farm site with level pitches on a gentle hillside that give excellent views of the surrounding fields. Facilities are all in one new building and are top notch. Great pub 5 mins away and lots to see in area. We'd definitely return.

A superb choice and a lovely site, there were three pubs in a walkable distance. It was nice and quiet. There was a lovely toilet/shower block, with great washing up facilities. The lights are a bit bright in the middle of the night. The solar panels and care for wildlife is great to see.

Pitch was okay. Main plus point were the excellent shower, toilet and washing up facilities which were first class. Also, just a 500 yard walk away from a local pub, The Crisping, were we had an excellent meal.

Had a bit of a poor start as we arrived too early. The only downside to this site is not being allowed on until 3pm, but we could have paid an extra £5 and got on at 1pm? Apart from that, it is a lovely clean and friendly site and only a short distance to Bakewell, which is a lovely little town and a cycle route (Monsal trail). You can hire bikes to do this.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The site is located in a great position, five minute walk from the village. Had a great meal in the Crispin Arms. The farm shop was stocked with meats, eggs and cakes - an added bonus we thought! I had seen a review regarding the communal showers/toilets but we thought this was a good idea for families and they were private so did not cause any problems. The facilities were immaculate. Cannot wait to return and spend longer.

Lovely site, location and welcome. Not sure about communal showers and toilets. This should be made clear on your information.
Good site with a steep gradient

I stayed there during a warm August period and the location was ideal, less than 20 mins away from the stunning Monsal Dale and within 5 minutes from a 2 good pubs. The site was very clean and there was a range of toilet/shower facilities as well as a toilet near to the hill top that the site is situated on. It was also very peaceful (except for the sheep!). However, it must be noted that if you are on the hilltop (where we were), whilst the views are very nice (for a couple of pitches in particular), the walk to get there after you have used the facilities is a little dangerous and should be discouraged for those with walking difficulties or have fragile bones. This is because the gradient is very steep and the large gravel on the path to this area is very loose. I fell over on this, hurting my ankle (despite wearing suitably gripped shoes) and I saw at least 3 other people slip and almost fall during my two nights there. I would advise this to be looked into by the site owners. Overall, the site was in a nice location as well as being peaceful and plenty of facilities for what you need. However, if you are due to be on the hilltop, please be careful with your footing at all times.

Not happy with toilet/shower facilities being gender communal. Farm shop was a bit of a disappointment with few provisions available. Well located for walking and cycling. The excellent Monsal Trail a short cycle away and a short cycle trip to Bakewell, also via Trail. Adequate bus availability and pubs within a 10 min walk.

We had a lovely few days at Dale Farm camp site. It was located in a great position for the Monsal Trail and was peaceful and tranquil. The toilet block was superb and everything had been thought of. It was impeccably clean and everything in top condition. The couple who were looking after it for the owners were really welcoming and very helpful and we will definitely be returning!
