Enjoy a relaxing camping or glamping stay at Plough and Harrow, a country pub just 15 minutes from Dover and the beach. There are electric grass pitches for both tents and tourers, along with cosy glamping pods with their very own kitchenettes and ensuites. Unwind in the beer garden with a tipple and enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. For days out, Canterbury is also just a 20 minute drive away, with Margate within 30 minutes too!

Good size of pitch with space for awning. Showers and toilets clean. Pub provided food and drinks until 10pm.

Pub food pretty basic. Toilets and showers likewise. Ok for a night before heading off to Dover but would be a bit bleak for anything else. Grey waste unpleasant.

Absolutely a must stay, lovely setting, great host. Food was amazing in the pub. Live music on the Sunday had us all singing along while we rested. Perfectly located for Margate and Dover and all the amazing wonderful sites around.

Just a perfect place to stop. Wonderful village close to go for walks in. Pub was fantastic and our hosts were so friendly. We were able to get to know our fellow campers easily as we were closer together. Electric hook up for the motorhome, so couldn't have asked for more.

Neat, transit mini campsite where you can also rent a cabin. Cabin was neat and clean with private sanitary facilities. We only found that the pocket spring of the mattress was a little less comfortable. Highly recommended if you are passing through.

Small campsite alongside a pub. The pub serves food and the staff are pleasant. Two toilets and two showers on site. Clean and functional. Play area nearby for children but nowhere on site to stretch out. The pitches are close together. This place is suitable for a stopover on the way to the ferry. Not suitable for a holiday destination. The site is really close to Dover port. 15 mins drive.

Lovely little site, well kept and conveniently located near the coast, some road noise but that’s the trade off for the convenience of the location.
Very friendly site!

Site was good and near where we needed to be for a couple of nights. Toilet and shower facilities were a bit limited but very clean. The caravans and campers are a bit crammed on but overall, we loved it. Only downside, we asked our friends over for dinner - the pub is not what we thought it would be having stopped on other pub sites - very limited menu, so starters or puddings, just 4 basic mains options and 4 'specials'. Extremely friendly staff - we were greeted on site, treated like royalty and the lady (don't know her name) was attentive, cheerful, helpful and lots more! Our dogs were also welcomed enthusiastically so yes, we would stay again!

Very helpful and friendly host. Great location for the ferry. A little noisy from the main road at first but not during the night. Showers lovely and clean but could do with improvement.

Lovely place and lovely pods. It would be an perfect stay away, however, the mattresses in the pods are very old and you could feel each string. By the third night, my back was in so much pain. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. Otherwise, the place was super clean, facilities excellent. Lovely area - very close to the beach. When/If they upgrade their mattresses, I would definitely return.

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. The site is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the pub grub was delicious. The showers were the best we’ve experienced at a campsite….powerful, hot and doesn’t have a time limit.

We absolutely loved our two nights here! We had a pod for three people which was so lovely. Double bed and two bunk beds. Comfy beds and warm enough during the night. Heaters provided helped when it was a bit chilly in the morning. En-suite bathroom was great with very powerful shower. Sink, kettle and fridge was enough for a few bits and there was some plates and cutlery. Picnic table out front in the sunshine. Pub on site re-opened the day we arrived. Nice atmosphere. As we had vegan members of the group, we couldn't enjoy the free buffet (nice touch) but they let us order and eat our pizza at our table. Everything was very clean and tidy and the site was great. Close to Sandwich, Deal and Dover. Minor suggestion would be to just add coat hooks in the main living/sleeping area as there wasn't anywhere to hang these up.

Noise from road, toilets not cleaned regularly and grey waste not emptying due to people putting everything down it, including barbecue charcoal.

I was greeted by Dave and another staff member and they were very friendly. They helped me with my electric hook up issue (I wasn't turning a switch properly 😉) and recommended places to visit nearby. Lovely place, clean and quiet. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe on the campsite. Would love to revisit with friends when the pub/restaurant opens in Summer.
