About Nantgwynfaen Organic Farm

Nantgwynfaen offers peaceful and rural camping on an organic farm in scenic West Wales. The site is only 20 minutes from the gorgeous coast, a great location for exploring Ceredigion famous for its bottle nosed dolphins. There are six secluded camping pitches, all separated from each other and tucked away and surrounded by beautiful countryside. ConTENTed is a smaller, circular garden pitch surrounded by shrubbery and a hedge with views over the pink geraniums to the West. The pitch is suitable for small tents only, with a maximum of two guests, just a short walk to the car park and toilets. Pitch Perfect, is ideal for up to four guests either in a VW size campervan, a small caravan, or a small tent with adjacent parking. It is half grass and half hardstanding with lovely views over ancient trees and quiet meadows. It has amazing views of the barn owls during the summer and there is a fire pit for roasting marshmallows. Oh So Camp is a hardstanding pitch located on an elevated position looking over the farmland giving you the chance to enjoy a brew with a view each morning. Electric hook up is also available at this pitch. Sun of a Pitch is a hilltop pitch with views over the valley, allowing up to four campers. The pitch measures 15m x 5m with a private outdoor shower and washing up adjacent to the pitch, along with a flushing loo. This is an ideal spot to enjoy a campfire whilst watching the sunset overlooking the valley with ancient trees and buzzards at eye level. Love at First Site is a private and romantic large pitch nestled in the trees, welcoming up to eight guests in a large bell tent or a couple of smaller tents. The pitch has a private outdoor bootcamp shower, a washing up area, a private compost toilet nearby, a fire pit and a picnic table. It is a haven for birds and a short stroll to the hay meadows. I Got 99 Problems But A Pitch Ain't One is a wild camping pitch where you can stay in a whole valley with just you and the sheep. The pitch comes with an outdoor bootcamp shower and eco toilet, along with drinking water and a firepit with a grill. All of your gear can be taken down to the pitch via the site's quad bike. If camping is not your style you can enjoy a comfy getaway in the Glamavan, a fun retro chic vintage style static caravan for up to five. Set in its own gardens along a charming chestnut paling fence it has beautiful views over the Teifi Valley and the organic farm. Inside you will find a double bedroom, and a twin bedroom with small beds, suitable for children and small adults, along with a sofa bed in the bay window for a fifth person. A fully fitted kitchen fulfils all your culinary needs, with a gas cooker with grill, toaster, kettle, microwave, and fridge with small ice box. There is a bathroom with a shower and toilet. As well as WiFi for entertainment, there are board games, a smart TV with DVD player and a Robert's Radio. Amongst the flowers is a BBQ and outdoor furniture on the private patio. When it gets chilly there are electric radiators and a heated towel rail. All linen and towels are provided (but please bring your beach towels). Campfires are allowed and there are fire bowls with grills on all pitches. Charcoal and firewood is sold in the farm shop. Children are very welcome. Dogs are welcome too but must be kept on leads.

All pitches are open from the 1st of March until the 1st of November but Pitch Perfect is open all year round.
