Beautiful scenery around the pitches, with plenty of space around the tent. Lovely, friendly people who were happy to help in any way. Would highly recommend and visit again.

Very cool campsite, pitching up between the rows of apple trees. So peaceful, beautiful cider garden to sample the wonderful cider brewed on site. Definitely visiting again.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2022

Great site located about 3 or 4 miles North of Bridport (the way I went is along very narrow country lanes, and I managed to find my way back in the dark thanks to the old style signposts at 'Watford' 'Ebenezer Corner' and 'Pineapple Lane'). Long rows of apple trees, you get to pitch and park at any point along the space between two of the rows, which means tents can be spaced away from your neighbours - lots of room, a very quiet night. Pretty good loos and showers which they may be updating. Only stayed one night and in the evening I was out at a concert at the Electric Palace, so didn't get a chance to try the ciders. Free WiFi near the reception / tasting room (I didn't get any mobile reception on the site, which could just be my old phone). When I got back at 11 cars had to be left in the small car park by the gate, which does mean you don't get folks driving through the site late at night.

Lovely site

Lovely gem of a site. The location was amazing, my tent was nestled in a row of apple trees and actually felt quite private. I loved the sound of the birds settling down for the night and singing first thing. Plus, I actually saw a deer which wasn't instantly spooked by my presence. Other pluses are the firepits and the cider, and is one of the most unique sites I have stayed on. Finally, as a solo camper I felt quite safe on this peaceful site.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2022

Stayed here looking for something slightly different. The campsite was exactly what we were looking for. The owners were very welcoming and knowledgeable, not to mention the delectable cider. The pitches themselves were nicely spaced out in the orchards to give plenty of privacy.

Trailer Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2022

Overall, absolutely fantastic. Just need a little more time spent on the cleanliness and 'upkeep' of the showers and toilets. First-time campers, well first time for 45 years...what a place and what great hosts. Will be visiting again very shortly.

Site's response

Hi Ian So pleased that you enjoyed your orchard camping stay with us at the Cider Farm, especially that it was your first time in 45 years, making the experience all the more special. Thank you also for your comments regarding 'upkeep'. Constructive comments are always welcome. We hope to see you and your wife back soon. Penny, Oliver and family

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2022

We stayed here for three nights in June. The pitches were lovely and very large, and the main reception area was very nice as was the cider we sampled. All the staff were very helpful and were keen to assist if there was a problem. The showers were hot and we didn't need to queue. The only drawback to the site is the cleanliness of the showers and toilets which weren't cleaned regularly. We suspected that this was due to the main focus being on the cider making. If this could be fixed then it is a five star site.

Absolutely perfect

Can't think of anything negative about the site. Cider is probably the best I've ever tasted. The owners are really welcoming and friendly. The cider garden is stunning with the sculptures in the flower beds. And the tasting room is a comfortable and perfect place to enjoy a drink and a game of cards, when/if the weather takes a turn for the wet.

We loved our stay, welcoming staff and great facilities in a lovely setting. The paella on Saturday night was a great addition.
