Wonderful stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the Owl Pod was well equipped and surrounded by lovely scenery. The farm walk was great and the hot tub was great. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway.

Peaceful and tranquil

Very peaceful and stunning views. The site has tranquil vibe about it, with basic amenities with a unique touch. We had a email before arriving explaining gates codes, how to get change for the electric meter, which takes card and notes for the pound coins needed. Also, what pitches are available. Pitches are gravel with water tap next to the pitches. Dog washes are also available. The pitches are not level, so make sure you have stack pads for caravan. There are also some tree stumps dotted around to help get level. The alpacas and goats are entertaining, and can been seen from most pitches. We stayed for 1 night and use £3.80 for electric which was I felt was cheap for normal usage. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family. If Nick the owner ever got Hot Tub only pitches, I'm sure this would be a sell out too. 10/10 from us

Lovely

Just passing through for 1 night, enjoyed the stay, very peaceful and clean. Walked the trail through the site and had an incredible meal at The Red Lion. if we are ever in the area again, I will definitely stay.

This site is beautiful!

Well maintained with glorious views and a fantastic pub just a short walk away through the fields! Excellent stay here. I definitely would return. Perfect views and walks. The only minor reservation I have personally is that the WCs are shared. I would prefer a female only toilet/facility.

Beautiful site

New motorhome owners, this site is immaculate, best we have ever stayed on - seriously couldn't fault anything. Red Lion pub had great food and we had a lovely walk through fields. Thank you so very much, your site is a credit to you

Fantastic

Had a fantastic stay here. Very clean, everything you need to enjoy your break. Had a dishwasher and an air fryer. The animals were beautiful and well looked after, thank you very much!

Great

Enjoyed the stay, great views. Woke up Christmas morning to some of the best views I've ever seen, nice pub near by. The hut was very clean. Owner was very helpful. I'd definitely go again.

Found it hard to find but well worth the visit. Great peaceful well looked after will definitely visit again.

Fantastic dog walks

Fantastic Adult only site. So chilled out. Spent 2 days here and we will definitely be back.

Pristine site with beautiful views

Quality hard standing pitches, fully serviced with a small heated toilet and shower facilities. An easy signposted walk along the grass footpath through the fields to a local pub, which serves excellent food. Jodrell Bank is about two miles away and several small towns have everything you need for a convenient stay.

Perfect, clean and very good value for money

Perfect. Nick, gave good information and instructions. No noise from anyone. Idyllic location.

Very peaceful site with great walks on the doorstep

Small number of plots on a very spacious site, with amazing views all round. Short walk to the pub across a well maintained pathway in the field and extensive walks, with or without dogs. Excellent facilities and serviced plots with everything you need. Very relaxing.

Great place

Very clean site, toilets & shower are immaculate. Away from the road. Lovely walk through field (with a path) to the local pub, which does evening meals. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent campsite

We had a great stay at this campsite, very impressed with all aspects of the facilities. Some nice touches stood out, like a field with alpacas and rare breed goats. The toilets and showers are nice, clean and warm, and have some radio music playing 24/7. A grass mown path that leads to a walk around the site or straight to the local pub. Very secure site with x2 barriers to negotiate to gain entry, very easy to operate.

Beautiful campsite

Well maintained and secure site well situated for Macclesfield and the surrounding area. Shower and toilet block well maintained and heated.

An excellent experience here. Definitely the best place we've stayed in our rented motorhome for our whole trip! It was very clean and well kept. Really nice facilities, they were clean & modern! Located a bit far from the shops etc., but that's the magic of the place! Felt so safe & secure too!

Nice, clean site near a good pub

Would recommend. Good, tidy site, arrived late evening and access was efficient.

Owl pod - Welltrough Hall Farm

Excellent site. Everything catered for. Owl pod we stayed in was beautiful. Nick was brilliant if we needed anything. Already planning our next visit.

Beautiful surroundings

Lovely campsite. Well laid-out and clean. Booking was easy. Dogs welcomed and plenty of idyllic walks.

Really easy, practical stay

Everything was really clean and easy to access. The signposting was easy to understand and really helpful. The location is beautiful and peaceful but also super close to the M6! Perfect for a stop over on our way up to Scotland.

A different site

An easy-to-access and well-provided site in a nice location. I liked the fact that you pay for hook up via a coin-meter on pitch. If you have a longer caravan as we have, please note you will need chocks for wheels and jockey as some pitches are quite sloping. All pitches are fully serviced. Lovely to have alpacas and rare breed sheep and goats next to the pitches. Would very much recommend this site.

2 night stay

Lovely views and lovely llamas, alpacas, sheep in fields surrounding you. Only downside is that some pitches are on so much of a slant, we could not get anywhere level. Even with ramps, we were fairly uncomfortable. Location was lovely and walk to pub easy to follow as grass is cut accordingly. Showers and toilets clean with plenty of hot water. Well-secured site with gated and coded entrances. Need £1 or £2 coins for electricity meter at pitch - remember to take some.
