Great campsite

Stayed by accident thinking it was near Sheringham but it didn't matter too much. Park and facilities were spotless, I think one of the best we've stayed at. It was excellent value for money, plus the showers were heated. Would highly recommend.

Recommended

Showers are fantastic, clean, warm and private. The area was nice and quiet, apart from road noise, but it wasn't so bad it kept you awake. Close to King's Lynn and beaches and other places to visit. Staff are very friendly. Would like to see a better play area for the kids and a bigger shop so if you were to stay on site, you would not have to go out for food. I would recommend to anyone.

Lovely location with great facilities

The site was lovely and the picnic bench a great addition. Individual shower/toilet cubicles were wonderful, warm and piped radio to sing along to. We are an unusual 'rig' as a continental demountable but staff were very helpful when we didn't fit the standard way of pitching, moved us to an RV pitch to give us more space to set up what is normally the wrong way round. The only negative was that although the onsite takeaway should have been open Friday, it remained closed. Overall, I would recommend and stay there again and perhaps try one of the heated huts.

Lovely cosy stay

We had a lovely stay in the pod, it's nice and warm in the evening. It's quite basic but did the job and had everything we needed. The shower and toilets are very clean. We went on a couple of walks from the pod and got to the sea and looked out over the nature reserve, so beautiful.

Snettisham high tide was spectacular

My only minor criticism is that the floors of the shower changing areas were uneven and there was no edge to the shower trays to prevent the floors from getting very wet. As I said a very minor grouse. I would willingly recommend this site.

Nice site good surroundings

This is a nice well managed site. Facilities are good, especially the individual shower blocks. Loads of local walking options and well placed for all that west Norfolk has to offer, especially the beaches and Sandringham. Just a shame about the road noise.

Such a lovely camp site

One the best campsites I’ve stayed at. The shower and toilet facilities are great. Lovely spacious pitches and the campsite is in a great location.

Not impressed

On arrival staff were friendly, pitch was too small and the showers were either cold or too hot. Were woken early by dogs barking or noisy children. Also, I felt that one member of staff was very rude for no reason.

We did have a boiler problem, which was sorted once we were informed of the problem, we also apologise that you felt a member of staff was rude, this is not the response that we like to receive, we usually pride ourselves in our attitude towards our visitors. Incredible

Probably the best campsite I've stayed at. Check in is very well organised after reception hours, I also got some fish and chips from the shop and the staff were so lovely. The spot I was allocated was spacious. The showers were probably the best part! Very clean and you get an entire bathroom to yourself, not just a cubicle (I've never had that at a campsite before). The shower even had a radio and flashing lights in the shower head, which was really warm and powerful. There are bikes you can hire too. There is a play park for children and lots of benches to sit and have a picnic. The only downside I could think of is that you can hear the cars on the main road off the campsite, which doesn't make it feel as secluded as you'd expect for a campsite. But it was very much worth every penny, thank you!

A wonderful mini break

What can we say, Pinecones superseded our expectations. We stayed in one of their oak pods as a family of 5 (one baby). It was an absolutely perfect base for a weekend of exploring Norfolk. Clean and had all the essential basics we were not expecting. The site was clean and in a great location. The showers were a real treat for a campsite. They were really clean, spacious and the added feature of music was fantastic. We would definitely recommend the park to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Pinecones weekend

Last minute weekend away booked the day before. It was so easy to book. Didn't leave until after work on a Friday, and when turning up we carried out the self check in with no problems. We pitched out on the electric grass/sand pitch with just electric, and it was fantastic for the value- can't fault it. Clean showers and toilets. And the food onsite was nice too. Definitely recommend.

Lovely hidden gem!

Great little find! Site was clean and easy to navigate. Showers and toilets were clean. Lovely shower rooms as it's more like a personal bathroom. Perfect for people with dogs as they had fab facilities! Dog wash and a dog bar! So cute! Can't wait to come back here with our dogs next year in the summer! Some lovely walks close by, close to the beach also. Staff were helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend.

August 2022 visit

Overall the site worked very well for my family and the 3 families camping with us. Being allocated 4 pitches in a corner area was perfect. I loved the individual toilet/shower rooms, great idea. I would recommend slightly bigger pitches. Thank you.

Lovely place

Lovely place to stay- close to nice walks, friendly staff and fast service. Would have given 5 stars for facilities too, but I think the ice pack freezer needs to be bigger and have a sign on it saying only take your own packs, as some of ours went missing. The team there did give us loads of ice though when we told them. It was my husband's first time camping, and he wants to go more now.

A nice campsite in a central location for days out

A nice campsite situated in a good location, ideal for visiting the beach and other local attractions. The site and facilities were well maintained and clean. The small shop providing the everyday essentials, as well as the camping bits you might have forgotten!

Lovely family campsite

Lovely family campsite. Bathrooms were really clean and modern and washing up facilities were brilliant. There was a laundry service and hairdryer. On-site shop closes early but there is a local coop only a drive away. Staff were super friendly and play park on-site good for the kids!

Lovely campsite not far from the coast

Clean, friendly campsite well placed for visiting the coast and nearby countryside. The toilets and showers were very clean and well maintained. The site was tidy and well organised. We particularly enjoyed the local walks along the stream and to Sandringham. The beautiful beaches of Snettisham, Heacham and Hunstanton are very close by. The campsite staff were friendly and only too happy to help. I would definitely stay here again - many thanks for a lovely holiday.

Great stay

Great site with great facilities. Our first time camping for a few years, and so glad we chose this site. Great location for days out and close to a number of beaches. We all loved the toilet and shower rooms especially the teens! Definitely will come again.

Great little site

Had a great stay here. Brilliant toilet/showers, some of the best we have used. Plenty of them, so only had to wait a short while on a few occasions. Pot washing also great with plenty of hot water. Dog friendly with a small area to let them off lead, plenty of local walks on lead, shower and drink station. Strict noise rules, adhered to by all which suited us. Small camp shop for essentials. Location is a bit isolated, but within an hour of most of the best north Norfolk beaches and very close to Sandringham, a walk away for some. Childrens play area wasn't much, only really suitable for toddlers. Could hear the traffic from main road at quiet times, but soon got used to it. All in all a nice little site.

Good stay at a good price

Aside from one noisy couple on the second night, this was a good stay at a good price where most other competitors were significantly more expensive. The showers were well thought through and ideal for families with young children. The pitches were of a good size, albeit tightly packed together and the play park was a great addition. Accessing services including reception and other facilities was difficult and not aided by a lack of obvious timings. A new heavy-duty freezer is needed for ice blocks. Although not well located to a town, it was nonetheless excellently located to both National Trust and English Heritage sites, and several beaches.

Perfect for families!

Great campsite itself was clean and tidy. The cool block freezer could be bigger as we struggled to get even two things in as people were freezing 10+ items at a time. The wasps / ants were a real issue as there were a lot of them. The showers were only cleaned once a day and to be honest, that wasn't enough but overall we had a great stay even when it rained. The ground was sand so stayed wet for a very long time and flooded.

We haven't had rain since June therefore, the rain we did get when you was with us was tropical like. I would like to highlight that the private bathrooms are cleaned twice a day- one in the morning approx 10:30am and in the evening at 5pm. Thank you again and we hope to see again for another stay!

First time camping & would definitely come again!

Not having much to compare with I was impressed with how well organised and tidy this campsite was! Bathrooms like you would have at home. Only negative is that we didn't get allocated a pitch next to our friends despite requesting it.

Great site

We have just come back from a 4 night stay here, this is one of the best sites I've stayed on in the last few years. The site was clean well maintained. The staff were helpful. The shower and wash rooms were clean and really nice. I could not find anything wrong with this site

Beautiful, well organised site

Beautiful site with clean bathrooms and a great little shop. So much to do in the surrounding area. Great for kids & dogs. Only down side was the road noise but this does make the site very accessible.
