Hardrigg Hall Glamping is nestled in the picturesque Cumbrian countryside, a ten minute drive from the Lake District. The small glamping site offers just two luxury ensuite glamping pods, each sleeping up to four with a decking area, equipped kitchen, a TV and more. Ideal for families looking for a rural escape, the site boasts glorious panoramic views, with room for games too. Ullswater is also only 25 minutes away, great for watersports!

We absolutely loved staying in the Primrose Pod. The pod itself was perfect for the three of us, it was clean and well equipped for our stay. The views from the pod are stunning and lovely for alfresco dining and relaxing in the hot tub. Its so quiet and peaceful and the outside space was perfect for our 4 year old to run around and play safely. Mary and family were lovely and helpful and the little touches like the Prosecco and chocolate were fab. Mary showed us the cows being milked and we got to meet some of the new calves which my daughter loved and which made the stay that bit more special for her. Would definitely recommend staying here, we plan to come back again when we get a chance.

Mary and Alistair were incredible hosts! I told them the trip was for my friend's birthday and they surprised us with the most stunning birthday decor/cake/prosecco. The facilities/pod in general were very clean and modern. There was good heating and warm water (which was reliable) for the shower. The weather was lovely when we went so we got to make the most out of the patio as well. We didn't have a car/bikes but Mary and Alistair were kind enough to offer us a lift around the place. They really go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We even got to learn about the dairy farm and the whole process of milking cows. I would definitely recommend staying here - the location is gorgeous and the pods are comfortable. Mary and Alistair really make the experience 10/10! :)

Far exceeded our expectations, the owners had thought of just about everything you need for you stay and include it in the pod. They had even stocked our fridge with milk and Prosecco.

Gorgeous pod with perfect views. The hosts Mary and Alistair made our stay very special. It was the hubby's birthday and our wedding anniversary. When we arrived, they had put a birthday banner up, there was a chocolate cake, Prosecco in the fridge and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The pod was perfect, would highly recommend. With a 20 min drive into Keswick, there's plenty to do.

I had arranged a weekend getaway for my partner's birthday and the hosts absolutely delivered! Having mentioned her birthday when booking, they went above and beyond - bunting, flowers, Prosecco and they even baked a cake! Pod was lovely and cosy and, being slightly worried about being cold at night, we brought a small camping heater - didn't use it once. Clean and really well located and if you want to pop into Penrith. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone.

Fabulous stay - went with our 2 and 5 year olds who found it very exciting! Lovely location, and the pod itself was perfect, so cosy, and the welcome pack was amazing! Hoping to return in the summer months and use the BBQ!

If you want a peaceful couple of days away then Hardrigg Hall will not disappoint. Very comfortable, beautiful scenery and very relaxing. Could have stayed longer and I will be returning.

I can't recommend Hardrigg Hall enough. The location, the view, the pod itself were all fantastic. Very secluded and quiet on a night so perfect for relaxing breaks. The personal touches from the hosts were a very nice little surprise. We asked for a fire pit and found we had marshmallows in the pod for us. The prosecco and chocolates were a lovely little touch also. There was hardly anything we needed and the hosts have really thought of everything for you. We found the location perfect and were really no more than 30 minutes away from everything we looked to do. Once again, I can't recommend enough and we will be back again.

Amazing pod with breathtaking views, ideal for couples and only 10-15 from town and within hours drive from amazing activities such as Lake Windermere and Scaffel Pike. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Pod was well facilitated and slept amazing.

Gorgeous pods on a scenic rural working farm. The pods themselves were really clean and well equipped with lovely decor and personal touches from the owners - including treats and toys/colouring for the kids! A wonderful place to relax on the decking or by the fire pit with stunning views. The kids enjoyed playing with the football net and exploring the old parts of the farm. The beds were comfy and the ensuite bathroom ideal for a first "glamping" experience with young children. Before we came I was a tad worried about being woken up by farm animals but weren't disturbed at all! Location is good for Penrith/ Carlisle/Ullswater, we visited Walby Farm Park whilst here which was fab. Overall would highly recommend!

Just finished the most beautiful and peaceful 3 nights in this pod. The Wilson family have done such an amazing job with these pods! We were very lucky to have the whole area to ourselves and we loved the fact the cows and sheep were soo close to us everyday. Such peaceful settings and you can hardly hear a thing when sat outside. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

The Pod was set in the most picturesque of landscapes, with a beautiful view. We arrived to find it situated on a lovely little farm, but close to all the amenities needed and not far away at all from shops/supermarkets and fun attractions. Very near to gorgeous little country pubs which offered a delicious selection of locally sourced food. Received a manual in the pod which was extremely helpful with directions and times to takeaways, pubs, supermarkets and which also included activity leaflets. Pod itself was immaculate and so cosy. The perfect Lake District getaway. Was stocked with everything you need to get by. Really could not get over how stunning and comfortable Pod was. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Fantastic value for money. Farm animals were friendly and quiet. Staff are a pleasure! Loved the little touches, e.g. we requested a fire pit and were given marshmallows in the pod to toast on said firepit. Also on arrival into the pod, we were greeted with a bottle of prosecco (another brilliant personal touch)! All round an amazing experience and can't wait to go back! 10/10! X
