Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, Lady Heyes Holiday Park is a privately owned, family run holiday park which offers touring (and even hot tub pitches!), camping and top notch glamping pods with hot tubs. Try the cafe on site and the indoor play area, or head off for a wild day out at Chester Zoo, which is in modest driving distance. Campfires welcome.

Camping Pod - Original Pods with Hot Tubs (Adult Only, No Dogs)Mar 2024

The pods at Lady Heyes are very minimal and cute. Unfortunately, the bed and the bedding weren't up to standard for a stay in our opinion. The mattress was solid and the pillows were really flat. We didn't bring this to the attention of the staff during our stay because we didn't feel it was fixable while we were there. Although we had the hot tub to soothe our sore backs, we were really disappointed with the comfort of the bed. The location is lovely and Frodsham is a £4 Uber from the site, with lots of hospitality places, charity shops and eateries. The cafe on site serves tasty food but we didn't try the bar. We also spent one day at Hover Force which is just a ten minute drive from the site and really fun!

Clean, friendly and welcoming. Great facilities and lovely staff, we told them it was our first trip in a caravan and they really helped. Lovely playground.

Great site. They actually offer pitches with adjoining hot tubs for very reasonable rates, so might try next time we visit. Good facilities and friendly staff. A pleasant 30 to 40 minute walk into Frodsham. And the local pub, Travellers Rest, does great food. Really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely site, just a walk into the local town. Very clean and nice, quirky shops on site. A bar within walking distance which serves food. Would definitely return.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesOct 2023

Great location. Very close to Delamere which is already a firm favourite. Good and efficient campsite, well laid out but drainage is very poor. The Elsan and grey water disposal points are not undercover. The toilets and showers were not cleaned as frequently as a lot of sites of the same price and were at times quite disgusting. The bin area was also very messy. Loved the on-site cafe, the food was incredible and the service was excellent. Kids loved the play park.

Fine, but not good in poor weather

Fine but not good in poor weather. Very soggy, muddy, tired, hardstandings are too small, potholes full of water, and not enough space for an awning without ending up on the sinking grass. Lovely location, lovely staff, cafe and shops are all nice. But I suggest you don't go when the weather is very wet.

Enjoyed our stay despite the weather...the site has every you need. Plenty of space for the dogs to be exercised in the enclosed dog walking area and the small outlet of artisan shops is worth a look around...loved the traditional sweet shop! The reception staff were very helpful.

As a first time motorhome traveller, I couldn't fault this park. Facilities were great. The showers and toilet for a disabled person were the best we found. Although the bar etc were closed, we made do with lovely take outs etc in town just a short drive away. I would imagine this park to be amazing at the height of season.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesSep 2023

Stayed for one night. Pitches are not great as they were very narrow and not well kept, as they had very little gravel left, loads of cigarette ends and weeds. People who were using nearby pitches cut through our pitch, right next to our Motorhome, to get to toilet block, rather than walk round the road. Toilet block was clean. Lady Heyes' shops include some antique shops. 2 mile walk into Frodsham itself. For £21.50 it was okay for one night. Hot tub pitches were at the side and had some privacy.

Great value for money, have stayed at parks almost double the price with the same or less facilities. Food at the café was lovely & the village shops are great to have a nose around. A great site for families we loved it, thank you!

Stayed as a stopover for one night. Site was well laid out with electric and water supply at each pitch. Large shower block was ok with good showers but needed more inspections and cleaning when the site is fully booked. Our pitch allocation was in use by someone else. The site did not know who was on the pitch so we ended up on a sloping pitch not suitable for a motorhome. Would not stay here again.

Very clean site. Good sized pitches and easy to find. We found there was no evening entertainment though, only a quiet bar so not sure if they class their bar as entertainment. Very laid back site. Good vintage shops on site. Would stay again. Cheap site.

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesAug 2023

Arrived late evening for a one night stay. First time visiting this site. Staff member on duty was very friendly, polite and helpful. Directed us to our pitch as it was dark and difficult to see. Unfortunately, the pitch that was given to us did not have electric hook up as both sockets were in use. Because of this, the member of staff had to contact his manager and therefore there was a delay with trying to solve this. We had to move to a different pitch in the end. We were just desperate to settle down having arrived late night. The member of staff was apologetic and ensured that we found the new pitch. Apart from this we had a good stay. Breakfast at the on-site café was value for money and very good.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't brilliant but that didn't spoil our fun. Easy to book in on arrival. £5 for a keycard that you get back on return. Reception served as a shop too. Showers and washing facilities were central to the campsite which is split up into different sections. We had a camper van with electric, didn't take long to set up. Not much to look at from our van, but we were able to have a small fire and room for sitting out when weather permitted. We had a walk to the bar, they didn't serve normal cider so had a raspberry ripple cider, it wasn't the nicest drink but it's good they have different things to try. Had a walk round the site, they have some pitches with hot tubs. If I was to return, I would definitely look into getting one of them.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesAug 2023

When we arrived, we were greeted at reception by friendly staff, given a site map and paid a £5 deposit for a card, allowing access to the site and the shower/toilet block. We found it quite difficult to locate our pitch and over the next days watched others struggling. The site is large and by Friday night, it felt quite crowded as where we were located the pitches were fairly close together. The showers have plenty of hot water and there was a hairdryer. I never had to queue for the showers even though the site was busy and by the evening, the toilets were in need of a clean. The café was very clean, the staff were lovely and there was a good choice on the menu. delivery too! My husband enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Due to it being school holidays there were lots of children and it was great to see them all playing together and having fun. However, this site wasn't really for us oldies but great for families.

Brilliant campsite with everything on site to keep a family with children entertained. There's a park on site and there's a bar on site, with a pool table, great value for money and the cafe is fairly priced too, with great food. Highly recommend and will be going again, staff are very welcoming.

Reception staff were 10 out of 10, as were all the staff working here. Lovely atmosphere around the site. Shower block very clean. Little niggles, bar prices were high and shower head could perhaps do with a clean, water went in every direction. Overall super site, great holiday, booked to go back before we left.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesJul 2023

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. We are new to caravanning, so was unsure about this site, but can honestly say we loved it, my 3 boys have learning difficulties and the staff were so helpful, especially in the café with my 3 year old, who has autism, during a meltdown. The lady came over and helped to settle him with some activities to do (thank you so much for that). Toilets clean and hot showers, great sized pitches and little play area for kids. Food in café was lovely and portions were really good, also has a few shops onsite that we enjoyed looking around and the soft play barn the boys enjoyed. We will definitely be coming again, thank you so much for a lovely stay ☺️

Lovely place and would stay again. Only disappointment was the pub on site wasn't open. Apart from that, all was good. It's a nice area, clean, plenty of toilets and showers. Would visit again and get the hot tub. Also, the staff was nice and helpful and a shout out to the garage owner on site too for helping us, thank you.

Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesJun 2023

This was our first experience in our touring caravan. Unfortunately, it wasn't the warm friendly welcome I had been told we would receive. We had a fully serviced plot and the access was located at the front of the van. Even with our extra long pipes for the grey water waste, it still wouldn't reach. It would have been helpful if we were able to see this at the time of booking so we could have ensured we have the right length of pipe to use the services we had paid for. We had a plot facing the park/playing field and toilet block which we initially thought was great. However, as the bigger children were playing along the front, our car and van was being hit by stones and footballs. The toilet block was okay but would recommend taking shower shoes/sliders etc. as there were some broken tiles in the shower cubicle. All of the hand dryers are on the same level and are too high for children/small adults to use. The site was very busy with children so if your wanting something quiet and peaceful this isn't the site for you. Whilst we were there, we noticed several dogs off the lead. There was security patrolling in the evening but might have been helpful to do throughout the day too? There were little shops at the top of the site that were nice to have a mooch around. We would try the site again in the future.
