An excellent long weekend with 6 families with kids. This is the 3rd time we've been and gets better each time! Lots of entertainment if you want it for the kids and adults, the facilities are kept as clean and well stocked as possible for lots of people and the staff are lovely. The pork sandwich was the only thing on the list of things that can ruin a camping trip when we played a game and was likened to ghandis flip flop! All other vendors on site great and the zorbs guy was brilliant herding the kids! Went on a lovely walk up past the campsite and can highly recommend this campsite as it has everything you need for a fun weekend. We will be back for sure next year and may even do more than one trip.

Just got back from a long weekend away at Barn Farm campsite with our 3 young children. We had a brilliant time - couldn’t fault anything. Despite it being an incredibly busy weekend for them facilities were kept clean and well stocked and we never had to queue for a toilet. We particularly appreciated having the food vendors on site for the whole weekend and loved the live music. Will definitely return again next year 😊

We have been to Barn Farm a few times and we always have a fab time. The entertainment and stalls for the Bank Holiday weekend were very good. There was something for everyone. The bands and singer were great. The facilities were good - the staff worked constantly making sure everything was clean and ready to use at all times. The campsite is clean, well maintained, has friendly and helpful staff and security team and is in a beautiful location. Great location to stretch your legs and explore the gorgeous Peak District. Easy to get to Bakewell, Chatsworth, Matlock & Matlock Bath.

Great campsite and good location - some really great walks locally, plus the Druid Inn pub in Birchover was excellent!

Such a lovely little site. Peacocks wandering around, rabbits and a beautiful walk up to the moors from the site. The site has a lovely, friendly atmosphere and plenty of facilities (shop, fridges/freezers, games room, lots of washing facilities). Second stay here this year and we will be back. Thank you!

A lovely working farm site. So many different animals and wildlife to see. Lots of local walks and interesting views and things to see. Local pub 5 mins walk away served fantastic food. Showers and faciities were fabulous.

The campsite had rabbits, peacocks and a resident bird who had made her nest in the pot wash barn. There was a small games room, vending machine and a few arcade type games as well as a basketball hoop, outdoor connect 4, snakes and ladders and dominoes. My only criticism was the pitch was on a slant, so every time someone moved in the van, all others could feel it. I know this cannot always be helped.

Excellent site, well planned for its size - I was surprised how busy the site was but we didn't have to wait once to use the toilets, showers or pot wash. Friendly and welcoming, there were plenty of staff about keeping the place clean and tidy with its play areas and little delights like the peacocks, mice in the dry stone field walls and nesting birds. Beautiful countryside setting with 2 pubs nearby and plenty of walks. We drove to Matlock Bath for the day but it would be a useful base for Chatsworth or Haddon Hall, Buxton, Matlock, Crich trams or Rowsley steam trains. We will visit again...

We have really enjoyed our long weekend at Barn Farm, really big site. We were on a grass pitch in the touring field, it was really quiet and we have chilled out. Good walks direct from site and all showers/ toilets are clean. Shop onsite if you have forgotten anything.

Would definitely recommend. It's on a perfect spot with lots to do nearby. The campsite itself is great with brilliant facilities. Can't fault it. The kids loved the play area and games room and making friends. Very good value.

Family and dog friendly, really clean, loads of space and lovely friendly staff. Best campsite we've stopped at. Loads of space too, they leave a ton of space in the middle of each field. Loved it, will for sure go back.

The place is clean, well-run, and the staff are friendly. Fields can be a bit hilly, so depending on how full they are, you may struggle to find a flat patch and thus roll a little in your sleep. Lots of lovely animals on-site, and a nice little shop for essentials. Unfortunately, some guests seem to think it's ok to let their dogs off their leads in the main camping field, which can be a little intimidating for other guests, especially those with young children or smaller dogs.

Excellent family site with lots of facilities. Male showers and toilets were smelly, likely a drain issue. However, we would certainly return again. Rural location with good walks, 2 local pubs with good food (booking required), close to Bakewell. Suits those looking for peace and quiet. Small shop and a play area for kids.
Very good campsite
