Located just a few minutes walk from the Fife Coastal Path, Silverburn Park Campsite is a peaceful site near Leven Beach. A family and dog friendly site, there are grass pitches on offer, including some with electric hook up, and three heated eco-pods. Start the day with breakfast at the onsite cafe, with days out at Fife's fishing villages and the ancient burghs of St. Andrews and Falkland, all within a 30 minute drive!

The site was beautiful, the location and views from the beach were outstanding. Lovely walks through the woodlands or down at the beach. It was very quiet and relaxing, well recommended. The staff onsite, in the office and at the café were very approachable, and they were willing to assist if required.
Thank you

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great location on a cold and wet March day. There is building work going on but it’s not too loud and intrusive. I would definitely go back.

Good wee find, especially in winter. Heated toilets! I imagine it'd be quite crowded when full.

Stayed for 1 night with my little dog, the pod was spotless and cosy. The staff were lovely, friendly and explained everything brilliantly. The site is great for dogs, there are a lot of walks and it was super close to the beach! The toilets and showers were spotless too! There was some construction work going on at the mill which I was told about at booking. I was expecting to hear some noise but I didn't hear a peep! Would definitely come back. Hector and I loved it 🐶😀

Me and my 2 children loved it here. Beautiful location. I would definitely visit again. The gentleman who I gave my keys into at the end of the stay was the friendliest person we spoke to from the park, but saying that, we had very little interaction with anyone from the park. The Window Café only opens Thursday to Sunday from 11am but there are places near by for breakfast if you don't mind a walk/drive. The pod was very clean and well kept. It is very spacious, there was plenty of room for myself a 6yo and 9yo. The walks around the pod are beautiful, and it's only a short walk to the beach front. There was some building work going on at the neighbouring mill which they are try to restore, but was still relaxing and peaceful.

We had a lovely stay at the Silverburn Park campsite. We had a nice welcome at reception with a really useful park map. The pod was clean, had a double bed and sofa bed with a fridge, microwave and kettle. There was also a heater and a bedside lamp. There was adequate plug sockets which had USB ports for added convenience. The toilet block was close by and was clean and warm. There was sanitary products and cleaning products available for use. There was an outdoor pot cleaning area. My only area of improvement would be to have plugs in the sink, luckily there was plenty of leaves to block it for us and keep the water in. There was plenty of green space for the children to run about and play football. The park was quiet and peaceful and had an excellent bench for us to eat out meals outside. There was space for a fire pit which was an excellent way to keep warm at night. There was good lighting in the area to see the way to the toilets. There was a good supply of drinking water taps around the park making it easy to fill up bottles and the kettle. My only other comment is the sofa bed was quite small for 2 children to share. Ours are only young, so they both fit (only just), but older children would not fit two on the bed. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would recommend to others.

We stayed at Silverburn Park over the September bank holiday weekend. Luckily, the weather was on our side, except for some strong winds on our last night. Very nice quiet family friendly site, although we did have some noisy neighbours for our last night, who ignored the 10pm quiet rule spectacularly. Very clean shower and toilet block, with a washing up station and access to trolleys to get your belongings from the car to the pitch (cars not allowed on the pitches). We had a lovely walk to the beach which is easily accessed through the golf course. Looking forward to returning for the May bank holiday weekend.

Lovely location, pod was great. Would have been nice to have welcome pack in the pod though. Stayed after finishing the NC500 after 6 days in tent, so wanted a bit of luxury. Pod was basic and bed felt in need of new mattress. Facilities in pod were great and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only minus side was that we were unable to leave the motorcycle next to pod, which left me worrying all night about it due to no security on site.
Lovely find - a well kept and hospitable site

Had a lovely short stay at this site. The staff were both proficient and incredibly friendly, giving clear instructions and assistance. The on site café serves great coffee and the surroundings are perfect. 5 minute walk to the beach. Would love to visit again soon.

This is a lovely little campsite in a great location! There aren't many pitches which makes the campsite quiet and peaceful, and there are lovely walks around the park which were perfect for our dog! It is also very easy to walk to the beautiful beach. All of the staff members that we met were polite and helpful. The toilet/shower facilities are brilliant. They are really modern and kept very clean throughout the day. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Campsite was in a good location. The toilet and shower block were very good . Staff were very helpful, nice woodland walks. Nice short walk into Leven town centre took 20 min. Some work going on the bulldozer etc started work at 7-30 bit early we thought as it advertises quiet time between 10pm and 8am. Overall, nice quiet friendly site and would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Silverburn very much. The facilities were good and the location great. We visited Edinburgh by train from Silverburn, which was affordable and convenient. Kirkcaldy has lots of budget supermarkets locally. The only disadvantage was not being able to park our car by our tent but the use of a trolley helped us to move our belongings.
Nice family site

Fantastic location, good facilities and nice staff. No cars next to tents, which is nice and peaceful (but have to carry stuff to and from the car drop off point).
Very quiet and clean

We stayed in a dog-friendly pod, which was spacious enough for two people and the dog, you could squeeze a third person in. It is set is such a fabulous location, close to the beach and Largo, a quaint little collection of villages. Lovely beaches.
Nice, secluded and friendly stay

Cheap and cheerful camping. We never realised we were going to be in the middle of a public park and next to a golf course. There were quite a few dog walkers and runners. You don't get a feeling of remoteness. However, it is a lovely park and is very peaceful. Would be better if you could park your car next to your tent, it is a bit of a walk to bring your gear round. Would recommend overall.
Site's response
Thanks for your review Kenny, and for recommending Silverburn Park Campsite. We are indeed on the boundary of Leven Links golf course, and the site is set within grounds that are open to the public throughout the year. The campsite is fenced off from the rest of the park, and has exclusive facilities for guests. We have also planted a shrub hedge which will, over time, give the site some added privacy. Silverburn was once a hugely popular public park, but fell into decline at the turn of the century - our ambition is to return the space to its former beauty for the people of Levenmouth and beyond. We have a wonderful Walled Garden, maintained by volunteers, a cute wee takeaway that serves the best scones in Fife, and we are a short walk from the beautiful Leven Beach. Thank you again, for your support and honest review. We hope that you will come back again.

It was the first time away in our van so I was hoping for a straightforward check-in and set up, and I got everything I was hoping for. We were late for the staffed check-in, but the arrival information was clear and our pitch was marked up with our name- nice touch. Toilets were spotless, showers were hot, loads of bins and some nice surrounding walks, plus a wee cafe on site for a toasty and coffee before getting on the road. Added bonus is that it's a social enterprise. Will definitely be back.
