Great site with fabulous views from the top field. Fantastic facilities even had a pop up bar in high season with food available to order. If we had to nick pick, the path down to the facilities was grass and steep, so we chose to go round the longer route to avoid slipping. It did not deter from our overall experience and would definitely use again and recommend.

This is an excellent site. Great facilities, food available and a short walk to the beach (note steep steps). Highly recommended and will return.

We had a great stay at Watermouth Valley camping site. Even though we didn't have the best weather, the site facilities made it really lovely. We enjoyed great meals from the onsite hut and it was also very enjoyable to use the little horse box bar on the Saturday evening. The local area was amazing and so beautiful. The site showers and loos are really clean and has everything you would need. The family who run the site are very friendly and extremely helpful. Many thanks, we will be back.

Lovely site with stunning views across the sea and a nearby "secret" beach that is like something from a film. Worth noting that much of the site is very exposed and if you're camping on top of the hill, the toilets are at the bottom. Lovely friendly staff, sheep and goats. Thank you!

Top field pitches need numbering. Had someone stick their tent right between mine and the next tent. Then, had the same happen 2 days later on the other side. Was a joke. No privacy or consideration. People should be told on arrival not to pitch so close. Needs a drinking tap also in field. Only found the 1 by reception, too far away.
Lovely site, clean and friendly

We loved this site, small enough to be quiet but with enough energy and buzz in it to not feel too sleepy. We had to leave early due to illness and they very kindly refunded us for a couple of nights as they were able to let out our pitch. The small bar and different foods each night was so brilliant when we didn't want to travel or cook. I've never experienced such clean bathroom facilities - wonderful! Would highly recommend and definitely will return.

What stands out the most is the family feel. All staff were really friendly and helpful. Whilst there were lots of families, it still felt peaceful; the site was always quiet by 10pm. We really enjoyed the onsite catering too!

Excellent facilities and very helpful staff. Food, drink, and shower facilities top notch, lovely site and great location. Some pitches did seem a bit boggy under the trees, but really not a problem and understandable considering the amount of rain this summer. Will certainly be returning!
Beautiful campsite, everything you need for ease of camping

Lovely campsite in a great location. Clean and well kept with good facilities, including a nightly bar and reasonable, very tasty food van if you don't fancy cooking. Would 100% recommend.

We had a brilliant week of camping at Watermouth Valley. Super location, friendly staff and great food served on site. We were a group of families with smaller kids and took trips to Watermouth Castle (2 minute walk) and into Combe Martin for rock pooling which was around 10 minutes on the bus from right outside the campsite. There is a large pub next to the site that serves decent food and it is a 15 minute walk down to a sandy beach cove, although this does involve a lot of steps!

Stayed at this beautiful campsite for a few nights this week and it was stunning. We had sea views from our tent, was walking distance to the site's own pretty little beach that had calm waters and was perfect for a morning swim. There was a little bar and food available to buy if you didn't fancy cooking and a shop for the essentials and friendly staff. There was plenty of toilets and showers. The site was on the coastal path, so perfect for exploring the other little places along the coast. It was very close 5 mins walking distance to a pub, a lovely little cafe on a harbour and a castle, so had a bit of everything. There were games to play for free, which was a huge plus, like table tennis, table football, and a couple of undercover spaces for when it was rainy to play cards and have a drink from the bar. Although in the height of summer, there was lots of other people on site but it didn't feel crowded. The hill from the toilets to the sea view field was very steep but without this, it wouldn't be such a lovely view! Not an issue but something to to be mindful of if you struggle with hills - although there were lots of other options that were closer to the loos that weren't in this field. Also, the sea view field was slightly sloped - didn't bother us too much but if you're keen on somewhere completely flat, there other pitches on site that were flatter not in the sea view field. One other thing - the toilets and the showers were in the same cubicles down by the shop area, which meant if you needed the loo in the morning, you had to wait for people to have showers. There was a big block of showers and toilets down the path though, so as long as you know that and can hold on for a little bit of a longer walk, it's fine. These things didn't effect our stay though and still found the site to be fabulous, just some things to note on the choice of pitches. We will definitely be back!!

We loved our stay, the location was very picturesque, very good value for money. The kids had so much fun at the kid's games room. The cleanliness was very good, all the toilets and bathrooms were cleaned regularly. The only criticism is that more toilets and showers could be placed at the top of the campsite as it seemed a long way to go the facilities especially in the night. Otherwise, a lovely stay/

Such a lovely site, great for the kids with a large park area and games room. The food onsite was brilliant and catered for my daughter who is gluten free, which was a pleasant surprise. Pitches were big and electric hook-up spot on! The beach was beautiful (but a full workout getting there and back with the exceptionally steep 240 steps!) 100% recommend this site and would love to return :)

My first time staying but I will certainly go back. Excellent value for money, in a perfect location next to the sea and close to Combe Martin and Ilfracombe. Kids had a great time, and the free kids games room with pool, table football and table tennis was excellent.
Happy family!

Lovely site, easy to find, and large pitches - big enough for our large tent and gazebo with room to spare. On site food hut is a great idea and breaks up the basic food normally cooked when camping.

The site has some lovely facilities if you are camped down the bottom near to everything. However, a toilet block is needed up the top as the walk back up the hill is killer. The views were stunning until someone pitched right in front of us in an allocated pitch, then all we could see from our pitch on the free pitch field was the back of their tent. The free pitch field is mostly sloped with only a few flattish spots to pitch. The dog exercise field has no gates and we witnessed a few dogs off lead escaping from the field. The main shower block by reception was modern and kept beautifully clean. However, there was always a queue for loos and showers as there's not many for the amount of people on the site. Also, we feel there are too many campers/pitches so tents are on top of each other, leaving no space between for privacy and very little open space for the kids to run around and play, other than the dog exercise field. Overall, a lovely site with nice clean facilities but too many tents and people for the size of the site.
Great place to camp, definitely worth a visit

Had the best time, such a beautiful campsite, and looked after to a very good standard. Can not rate this place enough, the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend for families looking forward to another visit soon. 🥰 We took our 4 grandchildren, 7-8-11-14, and they all had so much fun with the other children on the campsite.

Perfect campsite that has considered everything. We had an open field sea view which was stunning. The site has clean facilities-plenty of showers and toilets that are immaculate. Never had to queue. It has a bar serving from 3pm with a screen for those that wanted to watch the Olympics. Prices £4.80 per pint. It provided food every night (for example pizza, Mexican, Chippy night, Sunday carvery, Curry night) all reasonably priced (£10). Great kids playpark and an indoor kids area too. The other campers were very friendly, and the atmosphere was great on the site. All pitches were quiet from 10:00. It has its own private beach 15 minutes walk away. It also has a huge field for dog walking too. Perfect location- cannot recommend highly enough.

Can definitely recommend this Camping Park to others. The facilities are very good. The toilet blocks are in good condition and kept clean. Broadsands beach within walking distance is a fabulous, sheltered beach and dog friendly. There are over 200 steps to get down to it but definitely worth it. Nice to have access to that without having to get in the car. We had a lovely time.
