Boasting five electric and non-electric grass pitches, this site is surrounded by the rolling hills of Yorkshire and Lancashire. An excellent spot for those who enjoy walking. About Thornton Hall Camping Certificated Site
A small, family-friendly camping and caravan site with beautiful views of hills and the countryside. Located on the border of Lancashire and Yorkshire, you'll be able to explore the Dales or take a trip to the scenic Ribble Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The campsite is perfectly located for those wishing to throw on their boots and head for the hills. If walking is not your preferred choice of activities, there is a children's farm park and playground located on site. Spend your days feeding the cows or spend some time with the llamas on this traditional working farm. Fun for all the family! Guests are welcome to stop by at the irresistible Roosters Diner where there is a selection of quality teas and coffees as well as freshly prepared hot and cold food.

Site rules and policies
Site Information / Rules:
Arrival from 12 noon onwards.
Check in is NO LATER than 6pm.
Full non-refundable payment is required at the time of booking, the site accepts cards
TENTS: Maximum six people per tent.
No fridge / freezer spaces onsite
No washing up facilities: water points available with running cold water.
No 'adult' only groups
Children are classed as 16 and under.
No noise after 8pm.
Ball games next to your tent / pitch only.
Farm Park entry and the outdoor play area are NOT included within your camping price. Separate tickets are required and pre booking is recommended due to limited availability.
In order to keep our farm and the countryside clean and tidy, camping guests can help by taking away their rubbish.
The toilet waste disposal point is available on the campsite.
Cycles/scooters/skateboards etc are NOT permitted into the farm park at any time.
*Dogs have to be supervised, well behaved and kept on leads of no more than 2 metres at all times and only walked on the footpaths to and from the site (they are not permitted on the Farm Park). The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act.
The site must be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure unless agreed otherwise.
If cancellation is necessary, the site will do their best to find you an available alternative date.
Cars are left at the owners own risk and THCP does not take any responsibility for these vehicles (1 vehicle only permitted on the electric pitch).
The use of the caravan site and field is at your own risk. No liability is accepted by Thornton Hall Country Park for loss or damage to any property or personal injury whilst at this site.

Things to do on site and in the Skipton area
The Pendle Way crosses through the centre of the farm or why not join the Pennine Way leading from the village. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal is within walking distance of the farm - for a longer walk head to the historic town of Skipton or take a shorter stroll to the village of Salterforth. You could even hire a barge to explore all the beauty of the canal - available at Skipton.
Experience hands-on animal encounters on the traditional working farm at Thornton Hall Country Park. Climb on board the Safari Ride and take a trip up to the Deer Park then enjoy some delicious food at the onsite diner. The little ones can burn off the remainder of their energy in the huge Play Barn… a fun-filled, informative family day out, come rain or shine!
