About Mr Moo's Touring Park
Mr Moo's Touring Park is well situated to explore the undiscovered region of Holderness or north along Yorkshire's stunning coastline and wild moorlands of the North York Moors National Park. Explore the hauntingly beautiful Burton Agnes Hall or browse the well stocked shops in the ancient market town of Beverley. The area has plenty of historic sights to visit, countryside to explore or museums to wander through. A walk leads down through the mixed woodland, along field boundaries to the cliff top at Withow Gap, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, with the cliff face revealing an ancient lake bed. At low tide, it's possible to walk for miles along the beach in either direction. The farm is home to a small herd of Saler cattle who you will see as you walk along the farmwalk, and as the farm is mainly pasture there is plenty of wildlife too, for example resident barn owls swooping low at dusk or the pair of buzzards that nest close by. From the beach you can watch the gannets and terns feeding as the tide comes in or if you are lucky a common seal or two. Dogs are welcome too but must be kept on leads at all times and any mess must be cleared up and binned. Two areas of the site are separated by a belt of woodland - Percy's Paddock (an adults only area) and Eleanor's Meadow which is suitable for families. Both of these offer grass pitches, with the option of electric. The grass pitches are well spaced and with the surrounding woodland, provides an ideal suntrap. The farm walk is accessible from both areas of the park. Percy's Paddock even has fully serviced pitches which include all the connections you need - grass, fresh water and grey water along with electric. The park is a superb place to get away from the stresses of a busy life and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful seaside location.
Mr Moo's Touring Park is open from 22/03 to 31/10 in 2024 and from 01/04 to 02/11 in 2025.
