You leave the hustle and bustle behind when you start driving up the chalk lane. When you reach the site you are treat sea views and views right across Flamborough Head. After getting set up we went for a walk down the path to the cliffs. Its great up there. We saw the puffins and gannets. The pitches are very spacious and there was a laid back atmosphere amongst guests. Everyone felt so relaxed. There are lots of great beaches. Do your research. The village has lots of cosy pubs. We'll be back a few times this summer.

Aside from the long bumpy access road and (in some areas) sloping fields, you’d be hard pressed for a site that offers peace and quiet and access to viewing some of the most beautiful sea birds in the country. You don’t have to walk far before nesting birds become visible on the cliff face. Take sturdy walking shoes and appreciate it may just be cooler and a bit breezy on the coast. We were lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights too, and clear skies for star gazing. Staff were lovely, utility block clean. Pitches are not pre-allocated so if you do end up on a slope, there’s nothing to stop you moving to a more level pitch when it becomes available.

Excellent caravan park on a sheep farm. In a good location to visit cliff path for viewing nesting sea birds. Also surrounding area including Flamborough Head where we saw a colony of seals, Filey, North Landing and Bridlington. Caravan Park was in a large field, some of the pitches on slight slopes. Good clean toilet block, no showers. Lovely surrounding countryside.

Lovely location with distant sea and lighthouse views. Staff friendly and helpful. Facilities exactly as described. It would be great if the old toilet/shower block were reinstated, but the owners made it very clear in advance that there were no showers, and even reiterated the fact in their confirmation email, so we don't really understand why some people are shocked to find there are no showers on site. Bempton Cliffs are around a 30 minutes walk, but the visitor centre itself is closer to an hour away.

Beautiful, chilled out campsite. If all you want to do is relax, walk, stare at the sea and enjoy the quiet then this site is a must. We loved it. Hypermobile travels.

A great site with views overlooking the cliffs and sea, First time I have seen Macerator toilets on a site, but very efficient and clean. The only thing stopping me giving 5 stars was the lack of showers.
Good stay

Great location with sea views, half an hour walk to Flamborough village centre where there's 4 good pubs, a chippy and a nice cafe. You can walk to Bempton cliffs from your pitch, it's a lovely quiet site with plenty of room. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Friendly campsite in a great location. Lovely staff greeted us with a simple map of nearby walks. 5 mins to the puffin cliffs! Generous sized pitches, pretty flat. Clean facilities. Pretty little site with a nice atmosphere, we'd definitely stay again.
Great site, very quiet mid week

This is a very well located campsite with a path to the coastal path. Peaceful, not too crowded and great sea views from parts of the site. The facilities were clean and the owners very helpful.

Wasn't happy with the electric, as it kept going off and on. Apart from that, would have liked it more if it had shower facilities.
Site's response
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry that you weren't happy. We found out on Friday evening that we needed a new circuit breaker. As it was a bank holiday, the parts were not available until Tuesday. This was entirely out of our control and we really do appreciate the kind nature of majority of guests. The electric did keep going off but we were on hand to put it back on straight away. Your electric was never off for more than a few seconds. We don't understand your comments regards showers - You were made aware upon booking that we don't have showers.

Loved the location, quiet site. Owners say they aim for a max of 20 electric hooks-up, but had almost 30 on site during our stay, which is why the electric overloaded repeatedly. The site is very well kept, with large pitches which are spotless. The site doesn't currently have a shower block, which is such a shame. Would rather pay a little more for this location in order for the showers to be open and the electrics updated.
Fab stay, lovely place for walks

Really lovely stay, very family friendly site. Great walks along the coast. The only downside was that there were no showers and it was a bit of a walk to the toilets. Road to the site was very jumpy but worth it. Will stay again.

Quiet, basic site. Shower block but not open when we were there. Clean toilets and pot wash area. Pick your own pitch after arrival. Friendly owners. Best take levelling ramps as not a flat site. Nice views of Flamborough head from pitches. Easy access to coastal path to Bempton cliffs or Flamborough - watch your step - my wife turned her ankle badly. So quiet and dark at night- very peaceful. Access track narrow and rough- take your time and you'll be fine. Really enjoyed it and would go again.
Ended up staying longer, so peaceful

Lovely place with well-kept pitches. Everything you need except showers. Toilets and washing facilities kept clean and disinfected. Made do with a flannel bath every night, no problem. Owners nice and welcoming and the grounds were always kept neat and clean. Beautiful walks into Flambrough. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning in the near future. Thankyou so much for the hospitality, Alan and Julie.

Picked up our new motorhome and booked this site for 2 days. Lovely, friendly and a no hassle welcome. We couldn't have picked a nicer spot for our first time in our van. Soon become familiar with our van, and loved every minute. Location great for walking dogs. Site quiet, and clean and the sun shone. Definitely book again. Should have bought van years ago.

Excellent location. Lots of pitches for tents, campers, caravans etc. Power hookups available as required. Owners very polite and helpful. Users all very nice people. A good mix of older retired couples and families with young children. Fantastic location, walkable to the lighthouse, the coastal walks etc. The sky is so clear, and the quiet is perfect. Bridlington is just down the road as well. Toilet block was clean and tidy. My only grumble is if you're staying more than one night, no showers. But I would recommend it, just for location alone.

A fab location. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Toilet facilities were fine. Just a shame there were no showers. Went in 2 campers, pitches next to each other. Plenty of room. Would definitely return.
