We really enjoyed our stay, we loved the location and enjoyed walking the coastal path to the pub. The toilets and showers were clean and warm. The free use of a dryer and tumble dryer was a massive bonus. We will definitely be going back.

Two night stop over. We were met on site & directed to the best spot to avoid soft ground as there was rain coming. Fantastic views, showers etc very clean & good facilities. Great bunkhouse for larger groups. Easy access to the coastal path, kayaking, coasteering and other adventures close by in season. We walked to the blue lagoon & onwards, saw loads of seals & had a great pub lunch in Porthgain at The Sloop. Amazing setting even in rainy October

The location of the campsite was beautiful and so peaceful as we were out of season. We stayed in the Blue Lagoon field. I loved the kitchen appliances portacabin - having use of a kettle and toaster was great. The only downside for me was the shower and toilet blocks. A shower curtain would have made all the difference as it was impossible to keep towels and clothes dry from the spray of the shower and they are in urgent need of a refurb - the shower floor felt unstable in areas. A great site overall with great access to coastal walks to nearby villages.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful location of our campsite, especially in the Blue Lagoon field. It's great to know that the kitchen appliances portacabin added to your convenience. Normally, as a Campsites.co.uk booking, you would not have been allocated a pitch on this field however I'm aware that you were placed up there by mistake. We appreciate your feedback regarding the shower and toilet blocks. Your suggestions are valuable, and we'll certainly consider them as we plan future improvements. Obviously, the main shower and toilet blocks are completely different from the converted cabins that you experienced in the Blue Lagoon field, but the points raised have been duly noted. We're glad you found the site overall to be great with excellent access to coastal walks and nearby villages. We hope to welcome you back for another relaxing stay soon! 🌟

I was meant to be leaving today but I decided to stay until next Sunday. The views are amazing. The staff are exceptional. They have helped me so much. Special thanks to Tom, Gareth, Jacqueline, Rose and Amy who have gone above and beyond to help me. I cannot thank them enough. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone. The shower and toilet blocks are spotless, and the views are stunning looking out across the Irish sea to Ireland.

Stunning coastal views. Friendly staff. Good facilities. Lots of electric pitches and water taps. Plenty of space on site. Good local beaches and harbour villages. Fire pits available on site created nice evening atmosphere as fellow visitors gathered around firelight. On site shop could be better stocked and cheaper, but supermarket in St Davids only 10 mins drive.

Very basic facilities. Showers were impractical, nowhere to keep clothes dry whilst showering, I have a dry robe so went in wearing just this and got changed back at camper. Even the dry robe got wet hanging on back of door though. We were not advised chocks were needed but they definitely were, ground very hilly. We moved after 3 days because of weather, the allocation of pitches seemed dysfunctional as we had to return to office several times as told incorrect pitches were vacant. People allowed to park haphazardly over electric hook up areas. We woke one morning to find another campervan parked less that 2 feet from our camper. Insufficient amount of facilities for the number of pitches and bunkhouse accommodation. I would say it was cheap and cheerful but it wasn't particularly cheap, we have certainly stayed on better sites for less money. The location is good, especially if you are planning to join a group doing coasteering, the Blue Lagoon is just up the road. The campsite is also 5 minutes walk from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. The sunsets were beautiful and the views spectacular. I'd say we were not the demographic they were looking for but I'm sure there are people who'd have a good holiday there.

A lovely tranquil setting great for coastal walks. We stayed and the weather was good, I'd definitely consider alternatives if weather was poor. Very exposed and due to the diverse nature of the site, facilities are some distance away. I wouldn't have wanted to be closer though as bins smelt quite bad and were overflowing. Showers and toilets clean.

We had a gorgeous stay at Celtic Camping, the views are idyllic and all of the facilities were great. Even had entertainment of a live singer in the barn. It's a busy site but everyone was very respectful of noise and it was perfect. Tips we wished we had known! The ground is hard, lots of stones and pebbles with the grass. So use hard ground pegs! The wind was high, we had to abandon our trip early because our tent didn't withstand the high gales, be prepared for the weather.

On arrival, a beautiful view. The pitch we were given was on a slant, so asked if we could change pitch, which they did but it was not much better. Van was on a tilt for the whole of the holiday. Facilities were too far away so didn't use them. The Elsan point was a drain you lift up from the ground. On the Thursday, we got back to our pitch to a note saying we were on the wrong pitch and someone was else was waiting and asked us to move, but as we were only there for 2 more nights and had awning connected, we refused. It made us feel uncomfortable as they were so close to us, so we left a day earlier. Will not be returning to this campsite.

Great campsite, really spacious pitches and a lovely view! The facilities were really clean, there isn't much in walking distance but St David's is a 10 minute drive and so was the blue lagoon. Would definitely recommend!

This site certainly has the wow factor with its amazing views and I think I would say, the team here are amongst the most helpful and friendliest staff that I have come across at a campsite. The facilities were great! Due to no fault of the site, we packed up a day earlier as the weather was horrific. Whilst leaving my husband to pack up, I was able to shelter with the children in the large barn which had books and board games to keep them entertained. The site was clean, and very large and the location is great for visiting the gorgeous city of St David. The main question is would we visit again, yes I definitely want to, but maybe when get some more sunshine.

Brilliant place to stay. Lovely, clean and tidy. Only downside is the shops are a bit far away.
Site's response
We're delighted to hear that you found Celtic Camping to be a brilliant place to stay, Kyle. Our commitment to maintaining a lovely, clean and tidy environment is of utmost importance to us 😊 Regarding the shops being a bit far away, we appreciate your feedback. While we strive to provide a serene and secluded experience, we understand that access to shops is a requirement for some of our guests. We do try to ensure that all customers are made aware that the nearest shops are 4 miles away in St Davids before they arrive. Please note that in peak camping periods, we do open our on-site shop for all those essential items. Thank you for choosing Celtic Camping and we hope to welcome you back soon! 🏕️🌟

After having trouble finding site, it was well worth it. There are five big fields to choose from all with good views. The cliff walk was brilliant but signs say 5 mins to beach, over an hour later found it. Because the site is so big would of been nice if provided with a map on request. There was free entertainment on Saturday evening the artist was brilliant had the room buzzing and people up dancing. All in all a lovely stay. Thank you.
