Situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire, Pelcomb Cross Campsite offers a pleasant environment in which to enjoy your stay. It's family friendly, and there is a range of grass and hardstanding pitches catering for tents, tourers or motorhomes. There's a pub within 150m and Newgale beach is only five miles away and it's just a 30 minute drive to fabulous Tenby. Dogs welcome provided they are kept under control.

This site was very good. Chris is a very nice guy and he keeps it nice, clean and tidy. Shower's and toilet blocks are very good. Sadly, they charge you an additional fee for Wi-Fi, which I found disappointing. This site is on a slope but they have levelled all the parking areas. There is a bit of noise from the road but it's not serious.

The location was good for us, as we wanted to visit castles and St David's, we also went to the Iron Age Village. All well worth a visit. We used the bus to go to St David's, with a bus stop right outside the site. Owners very nice and helpful.
Great site!

We took a last minute break at Pelcomb Cross and the owner, Chris, couldn't have been more helpful. All the information we needed was emailed beforehand and we received a text on the day to let us know which pitch was ours. We went to a couple of different beaches, the castle and had easy access to the local supermarkets and pubs. Facilities were wonderfully clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This site is a great location and base for exploring beautiful Pembrokeshire with good facilities. A variety of pitches to suit all. We booked a Abermawr Sunset Pitch, which, thanks to an amazing week of weather, proved itself every evening. Plenty of refuse and recycling points. Great, modern shower and toilet block. Chris was a great host, knows the area well. There when needed. We had a great week.

Pelcomb Cross is a small, family run site in a good location, ideal for caravans as it is just off the main A road through Pembrokeshire. The owner made an effort to come and say hi and was very friendly and accommodating. The site has lovely modern facilities, great showers, a hairdryer that is free to use plus the option of paying for Wi-Fi for those that would like to. We camped in our tent and had a good time. The pitch was at the top of the field so we had a nice view out to the hills, and a decent amount of space around the tent. For us there were three drawbacks to the site. The first being there is currently no play area for our children, however the owner said they do plan to install one in the near future which will be a big tick for the site. Secondly, there were no laundry facilities and finally, no ice block freezing facility, both of which would have helped us hugely. However, it is my error for not researching this beforehand, as we could have planned around this. Overall we had a great week at Pelcomb Cross and I would recommend the site.

We really enjoyed our 4 nights at Pelcomb Cross Campsite. My first impressions were that it was well kept nicely, with spaced-out pitches. With a clean and tidy shower block and a peaceful feeling throughout the stay. Great base location for us, with a short 10 min drive to Newgale Beach, and a further 10 mins to St David's.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It is a lovely, small site. It is very quiet, has everything you need and is very clean. We were within 45 minute drive of loads of places including Folly Farm, Barafundle beach and Newgale beach. The pub next door has great food and staff are really friendly.

Beautiful quiet location. We needed to use the bus as we wanted to leave the camper on the site and were able to get around the area easily, apart from Sunday when there was no service! Facilities were excellent and although we did not meet the owner, he provided us with information about pitch and mobile if needed. Had a meal in local pub about 200 metres away.
Perfect!

First time visitors to this site with my motorhome. Plenty of flat bays with services to connect water electric and drainage for grey water. The showers and toilets are modern and spotlessly clean. There is a pub/restaurant 80 metres from the park, a chip shop and a fully stocked shop at the nearby petrol station. If you prefer delivery, there are Chinese, Indian and pizza shops that will deliver to the park for you. Locality wise, there are some great beaches a few miles away. I must give a mention to Chris the owner, an avery friendly, helpful and knowledgeable person who keeps the park in such a great condition. I would definitely recommend and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Our 1st time camping overnight in our van with our very anxious dog & we couldn't have chosen a better campsite. From the minute we got there, Chris was on hand to make us feel at home. Toilet/shower/washing up/camp site facilities & surrounding areas were very clean the whole time. We will definitely stay again & recommend to family & friends.

Site is new and remote feeling, but you do have quick access to one of the areas bigger roads. The owner was extremely friendly and his recommendations for places to eat were great. The toilets and showers were great. It did have a feel of having too many seasonal pitches for the size of the site, but everyone was friendly.
Site's response
Hi David - not sure what you mean by remote here? There were 18 other campers on the site whilst you were here with several of the seasonal caravans in use as well. You left just as the English schools finished, so now we have bookings in every night, with the seasonal caravans coming and going. In the main summer holidays, many of the seasonal people come here with their children during the week so we're busy enough. We are just off the A487 which is the main road between St David's and Haverfordwest, the latter being just 2 miles away. We are located in the small hamlet of Pelcomb Cross with about 30 houses and 1 pub. Thanks for staying with us.

Lovely campsite! Lots of space for our dog to roam and to have the awning out. We went to St Davids for the day which was about a 20 minute drive from the site. There are no walk able coastal paths directly from the site, but there are lots of beaches that are close enough to drive to. Chris the campsite owner was lovely. We would stay here again if in the area!

Fantastic site, great location and nice and quiet. Only negative was there was no hand soap in the gents toilet but this is very minor, a great site with all the main attractions nearby. We will be back 👍👍👍

Owner was very friendly and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. The site was very clean and very well maintained. Quiet and peaceful. We have already booked to go back again. Would definitely recommend!
