Quite a large site with mixed seasonal pitches, grass and hard standing, caravans, tents and motorhomes. Great location for accessing the lake with paddle boards and kayaks. We paddled from the site to the visitor centre, which took a couple of hours one way and around 1 1/2 on the way back. Bit of a breeze, but manageable if you're relatively fit. Or a quick drive to the centre from the site, and lots of facilities and equipment to hire. Toilet blocks are located in one spot for all the site. Bit of a walk I expect in the night, if you're camping on the field the furthest away, but if you have your own facilities it's not an issue. We stayed midweek, out of the school holidays so probably a lot quieter than the weekend. Couldn't get a pitch for the weekend, so had to move sites but would have loved to have stayed on, especially with the sun out! 1 disabled toilet/shower room. Had no problem accessing toilets/showers when we stayed and were found clean and presentable. Nice park for the kids near the entrance to the site. Only briefly had contact with staff over the phone and a quick purchase at the shop but found to be helpful and friendly. Just to note the shop is not open all day, when we was there anyway, had 3 hourly slots but plenty available in there.

We really enjoyed our stay at Glanllyn. The location was excellent and there were plenty of clean showers and toilets. The site was busy and buzzing. Lots of families having fun on the lake. We had plenty of room and didn't feel cramped at all. We would definitely recommend the site to families and SUP users.

This was our 3rd stay and excellent as always. Clean, well maintained and perfectly situated next to the lake. Friendly staff and clean facilities. I would like to see a couple of dog poo bins dotted around as you can't always help where your dog does it's business. Other than that, it is perfect and we will be back again soon😁

Great location. It is located close to the road, but the territory is big, so in many places you can't even hear the traffic. The lake nearby is great. The facilities are very clean and convenient.

Great location on the lake with stunning views, this is the place to go if you want to sit back and relax, and take in the stunning views! The only downside we found was the shop on site was only open at certain times of the day for half an hour or so, but on the plus side to that, it was fully stocked with everything you may need. We'll definitely be back!

We had our first caravanning holiday this season and visited this site. Excellent views, great location and everything is within a 40-minute driving distance. The playground for the little ones is located by the entrance, however, not an issue as traffic was extremely considerate and we had no issues. There is also a fenced pathway from the site to the playground, and our 5-year-old had no issues getting there and back. Overall very happy, the facilities are very clean and plenty of toilets and showers for busy times.
