We wanted to get away for some peace and quiet, this was the perfect campsite. The facilities were exceptionally clean and the owner of the campsite, Billy, was very friendly. He made our stay even more pleasant and went out of his way to help us. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Lovely welcome to this stunning location. Peaceful and picturesque excellent facilities, just what you need. Regarding location, fantastic walks from site and dog field on site. Fantastic Wi-Fi on site and a local pub within under 2 miles in one direction, which serves yummy food and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, also near the pub a spar shop selling essentials. In the other direction, country estate which has three food options as well as a farm shop, a bit pricey but stunning, so considering what is there, it's worth it. That is less than a mile away. Definitely recommend this site, a good break away from the rat race of life.

We booked as a stopover and wished we had stayed longer. A charming small site with, most poignantly, the best showers I have ever encountered on a campsite! Plots were immaculately groomed and there is an expansive field where you can exercise your dog. The owner was very friendly and added to the quality of the experience, as did the small heard of inquisitive, friendly young bovines who spend their time peering through the boundary fence, I suspect in envy of the showers!
A fabulous stay

We are new to motor-homing and needed to get some practice in. We found this lovely little site not to far away for our second outing. We were met by the lovely manager Billy, as soon as we arrived he told us all about the site and was very welcoming. The site is kept beautiful and watching all the calves right outside our back window was lovely. There were a lot of nice walks close by and will definitely visit gain soon.

Lovely, clean and quiet site. Site manager was extremely helpful and present on site. The facilities were clean, well maintained and tidy. There were proper hot showers with good pressure. This is a very quiet site so perfect as a base for exploring and returning to for a good night sleep. I will be returning.

A lovely peaceful few days away. The site was great with good sized pitches and was safe enough for our 5 year old grandson to play safely. Bill was very helpful and met us on arrival and was available throughout our stay, checking to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The facilities are spotless and we particularly liked the dog walking area where we could take our dogs throughout the stay. There's a pub that serves food about 10 minutes drive. The weather has been beautiful & there was space for us to sit outside and enjoy a BBQ or two. We will definitely be back.

On arrival, we where met by Billy who showed us to our pitch. He offered to help us set up, but we managed without the help. We had an amazing time whilst on site, it can get a bit windy in the valley, but that just clears the cobwebs away. The facilities were clean, but I did have to ask for a shower mat after I had fall in the shower. This was quickly rectified with a mat being provided. I think my wife wants to adopt 1 of the beautiful calves that would wander down to the fence around teatime on a daily basis. She even named her favourite Bobby, after her father. There was lots of friendly people on site offering great advice on where to visit and where to shop.
Outstanding!

Well maintained site, in a quiet and tranquil area. Very clean all round, including toilets, showers, wash up area, laundry room - all spotless. All pitches included, electric, water, TV point, and grey waste disposal. Surrounding fields had cows, calves and highland cows. Some red kites swooping about. Couple of nice walks, for dogs too. 10 minute walking distance to a organic farm shop, selling local buffalo meat. The couple running the site were very nice and helpful. Will definitely return! Thanks, Andy and Victoria.

We stayed for 3 nights and would stay again. Great location for us as we wanted to visit Llyn Brenig, Corwen and the Rhug Farm shop and cafe that we have driven past so many times in the past. On arrival, we didn't see any kind of reception, so proceeded to our pitch number which we were sent by email. I think we possibly should have waited near the toilet block. It would be helpful to have a sign at the welcome area for new arrivals. The site was lovely and peaceful, we could walk to the Rhug Estate in 10-15 mins with our older dog and there was a grassy area at the entrance to the site (on a hill) where we could let our dog off for a little run. The facilities were slightly dated, but clean and the showers stayed on so no pushing the button for water every few seconds. I liked that I could use my own hair dryer in the bathroom too. I would recommend the site for anyone wanting to see the surrounding area, we had everything we needed and even put our awning up without any problems using rock pegs on the hardstanding.

Quiet, clean, more than enough space, top price, very friendly people. We came late on a Monday and were hungry. Asking for the nearest pub, the owner did not only recommend a top pub, but also called them for us to make sure they are open and still serving food 👍🏻🤩
