It's a perfect spot for outdoor adventure and is within a short drive of Wrexham and Chester.
About Glan Ceirw Caravan Park
Not far from Snowdonia is a peaceful, riverside campsite offering camping pitches, touring pitches and static caravans for sale. Want to wake up and hear the river's dawn chorus from your tent? This is a small site that promises a peaceful holiday, with less than 20 pitches and a family friendly atmosphere throughout. Conveniently tucked in the valleys between Betws-y-Coed and the historic town of Corwen, and only a short way off the A5, the site is a handy base for exploring further afield by car or taking on the challenge of Snowdonia. The park grounds are immaculately kept to encourage wildlife and diversity, so a lot of local birds, such as pheasants, and small animals visit regularly. Pets are also welcome and have plenty of space to roam by the river. There are 11 pitches on site which bring together a traditional riverside camping experience with the comforts of an on site bar, log fire to keep warm and free hot showers. Both hardstanding pitches for caravans and grass pitches for tents are available.
The park is open from the start of March until the end of October.
There are 11 accommodation options on-site

Just west of Corwen there is a local bison farm, where buffalo graze peacefully, something fun to see with the kids before digging in to fresh farm treats at the Rhug Farm Shop.
On the northern coast you'll find the Welsh Mountain Zoo, with 37 acres of wildlife and Penrhyn Castle which dates back to the Norman conquest and suits children, with opportunities to climb trees, make dens and run wild in the castle's playground.
