We stayed just one night after a visit to Sutton Hoo with our granddaughter, aged 9. Our pitch number was marked on the board on arrival and the fully serviced pitch was level and spacious. We were welcomed by 2 jack o'lanterns which were skillfully and amusingly carved! Naturally the ground was wet after all the rain we have had this autumn, but it was not muddy. The grass was short enough that we didn't get too wet walking around and our little one enjoyed the swings and play equipment and was delighted that that there were new friends to play with for a couple of hours. The showers and toilets were clean and we made use of the dishwashing area as our grey water does not drain into a pipe. Good value pitch. Our granddaughter was thrilled with her Hallowe'en treats a day early provided by Helen, thank you. A really positive and jolly experience all round.

A rustic campsite with basic facilities. Hook up and water tap by every pitch. Small site with approx 20 grass standing pitches. Each pitch is a good size and bordered by hedges and back onto fields or woods. Right next to Sutton hoo and near to Woodbridge town and many nice walks. Showers and toilets and a washing up area. Small park for children. Fire pit hire. Nice owners and the price is per pitch, not person nor vehicle, so we can fit 2 vans. It's just the sort of site we love.

Good, clean facilities. Perfect location, walking distance from Sutton Hoo site. Toilet facilities clean and well serviced. Plenty of space for each unit and pitches offered lots of privacy. Good dog walk. Easy check-in. The site is quite noisy with a busy road running alongside. There was also noise and fumes from a vehicle engine running just the other side of our pitch from early on Saturday morning. Appreciate that farming activity is 7 days per week and long hours, but this was not very relaxing!

What an amazing find! We really loved the site, it has a continental feel, as well as excellent facilities. We will definitely be going back next season.

A great campsite, friendly and easy to set up. It's a small family run site, great sized pitches, with space to spread out. Easy access to Sutton Hoo, just a 5 minute walk, so great for a stop over.

Nice, flat & spacious pitches with dividing planting. Not manned - understandable due to small size of campsite (15 pitches). Poor Wi-Fi. Toilet block was okay, but could have been cleaner & fresher. Location near to Sutton Hoo National Trust estate was fantastic - 5 min walk away and by going on foot, you get treated to free drink in cafe. Bit close to road, hence noisy for those nearest to road, although it's not a very busy road.

Lovely grass site, very close to Sutton Hoo. Flat pitches and serviced. Toilets and showers close to all pitches. Info hut and details of pitch clearly marked on arrival. Lots to do in the local area but also a nice site for just relaxing. Oh and also fantastic views of the aurora!

Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to this campsite. We had recently purchased a new tent and wanted to have a go at getting it up - this was a large tent some 7 metres long. The pitch sizes are excellent and generally flat, save for one or two very modest sunken/raised bits most likely linked to heavy usage. Some pitches were bare, recognising the heavy use over the spring & summer months. Site was clean, well kept and easily accessible. Some road noise, but not enough to disturb at all. Only 2 toilets and 2 showers (gents) so there could be queue's at peak times, but we did not experience this. Also, pot wash facilities are side by side (a shoulder's width apart) and therefore possibly too close for comfort for strangers - again, we were fortunate in that we did not meet anyone else to wash up at the same time. Bins were available and clearly marked so rubbish (and recycling) disposal was straightforward. Thank you and maybe see you again!

Lovely place to stay. Great facilities within easy walking to Woodbridge along river path. Sutton Hoo National Trust next door never disappoints. Downside is the traffic noise during the day, but quiet at night and never bothered us. We were on the chicken shed side, not the road side.
Lovely, will definitely be back

We got home today from our first outing in my classic caravan. It was the perfect site for a trial run. Each pitch has lots of room with a little hedge in between. We were camped next to some lovely trees which our dogs really enjoyed. The site is nice and flat so easy to park up. Nice, clean facilities, couldn't fault them. Helen came to say hello which was welcoming. I liked having a drinking water tap on each pitch, it meant I didn't need to set up the water feed for the caravan either. It's a good location, nice and central to lots of places to visit. Looking forward to coming back.

With the price of many campsites, even those belonging to clubs, going through the roof, it was great to find a private site with basic but perfectly adequate facilities, with serviced pitches at a good deal less than the club ones. Plenty of room with pitches separated by small hedges and 10 minutes walk from the entrance to Sutton Hoo. Absolutely ideal for our needs. Very friendly and attentive owner creating a relaxed atmosphere. Grass pitches on sandy soil so beware very wet weather, I would imagine.

Lovely stay at this site, small but adequate and owners friendly. Some lovely walks nearby, we took our dogs too. It was a bit of a small path to walk along the road, but not too wide to walk.

Really lovely campsite, kids had a great time making friends and perfect location for Sutton Hoo, Orford Ness, Woodbridge. Appreciated the fridge and freezer for non-electric pitches. Really good Chinese takeaway from Castle Kitchen nearby.

This site is great value for money. The toilets and communal areas are well-kept and cleaned. The communal fridge was helpful, and it was nice that the owner introduced herself.
