About Bardwell Manor Equestrian Centre
This is a quiet site offering pleasant views across the fields, which will suit both horsey and non-horsey guests. Camping here gives you a sense of real country life. There are 25 friendly horses and ponies at the centre, two full time qualified instructors and a family of geese waiting to meet you. Bardwell Manor's flat pitches are on grass, catering to caravans, tents and motorhomes with the convenience of optional electric hook-ups. Livery is available at the centre, so you have the option of bringing your horse with you for a holiday. You're also welcome to bring dogs on leads.

Site rules and policies
No camp fires.
Smoking permitted in camping area only.
No running or shouting near horses.
Do not feed or touch any of the horses or ponies without permission.
Dogs to be kept on a short lead.
Take care - all fences are electrified.
All rubbish to be put in the correct bin.
Things to do on site and in the Bury St Edmunds area
The site offers excellent riding lessons, hacks and days out, so even if you've never been on horse back before you can start as a beginner and join a fun lesson. In fact anyone over the age of five can have a go at this great family activity.
Apart from local trots, hacks and lessons, there is also a network of bridleways and tracks known as The Stanton Rides which offers 18 miles of gorgeous riding in the area, making this the perfect setting for your break.
Nearby Bury St Edmunds is steeped in history and offers a soaring abbey, plus plenty of lavish stately homes to explore such as Kentwell Hall, Ickworth House and more.
Just half an hour away you'll find lovely Thetford Forest.
