A note from the site themselves...

Our family has lived in the area for five generations. We love where we live, it is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and our small development of pitches sits well in the local environment. The site is named after Creagan Station our very own Railway Station which you are free to explore. We hope to meet you soon, James

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Large Electric Hardstanding PitchesSep 2024

Lovely old train station made into campsite. On both sides of the road. The views are stunning. Very quiet even though near a road. Have made the station into a cosy place to chill and have a hot drink. Toilet and shower are in the process of being updated but loved that the shower was adjustable and didn't have to keep pressing! In a shed for now, that's why 4 stars not 5. Near a hotel where you can walk to for dinner. Lovely and dark at night. No light pollution. Had a lovely walk. Pitch was marked out with your name so you can just drive up there, find your pitch and park up.

FAQ

Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome. They must however, be kept on a lead at all times in all areas of the park and not be left unattended. All dog mess must be picked up and disposed of in the proper bins located on the site.

Yes they are allowed but do keep them the confines of your pitch area and only use breathable groundsheets.

Unfortunately, there is no WiFi onsite but there is good TV signal and 4G coverage.

The electric hook up is 16 amp maximum 4 kw load.

You'll be able to arrive from 12:30pm until 11pm. Please depart by 11am on your final day.

The park lies right on the Caledonian Way, the cycle track linking Campbeltown to Inverness. You could expect to reach Glencoe and back within a day.

Five minutes away in the village of Appin is The Old Inn. First established in 1690, this old Jacobean pub serves unbelievable steaks and a great array of whisky. This is a must-visit.

Nearby, Castle Stalker(5 minutes) is believed to have been the site of a Fortalice belonging to the MacDougalls when they were Lords of Lorn. Learn more and take a tour of the castle.

Ben Sgulaird (20 minutes) has a reputation as a magnificent viewpoint, with its coastal position. The reputation is well deserved, but the steep slopes and undulating ridge make it a more challenging walk than its position close to the road would suggest.

Other nearby attractions:

  • Linnhe Marina (10 minutes)
  • Dunstaffnage Castle and Chapel (20 minutes)
  • The Meeting of Three Waters (35 minutes)
  • Kilchurn Castle (45 minutes)
  • Ben Cruachan (55 minutes)
