Set along Peterhead's award-winning Lido beach, Marina Bay Holiday Park is an ideal base for Aberdeenshire and the East Coast of Scotland. An ideal base for tents and tourers, the site offers both grass and electric hardstanding pitches, along with cosy pods for glamping. Enjoy stunning views of the marina, with swimming and watersports available too. The onsite play area, shop and cafe almost make it a great spot for families!

Stunning views. Close to town centre, toilets were very clean and shop online was good.

Holiday park was situated in a lovely location right on the beach with easy walks into town. Staff onsite were very friendly and helpful. Shop was well stocked and kids loved what was available. Toilet/shower block always kept very clean. My only criticism would be that it doesn't seem suited to campers, there doesn't seem any space to accommodate tents and we were place on a corner at the end of the site next to the road through the site. Our tent was also right next to a public path that links the beach to the town and this is quite a busy walkway. Aside from that we did have a lovely break and it was nice to explore the area spending time at Slains Castle and Aden Country Park, recommended by staff at the site.
Site's response
Thanks Lyndsey and your lovely family. We are looking into making more tent friendly sites next year, as a camper myself we are aware of this. Thanks so much for your lovely review and hope to see you again next year. Rhona
Great sea view, otherwise don't bother

Totally disappointed with the site. The Chemical Disposal Point locked and no one had the code, then when it did get open, I thought it was absolutely disgusting with poor cleaning. Showers and toilets were okay. Few people on the site had fires going and were constantly chopping wood with an axe, had to keep doors and windows closed due to being smoked out, and very loud late into the evening.
Excellent little site

Loved staying here and visiting the beautiful Cruden Bay. Marina Bay site is very clean and well kept and the manager was friendly and helpful. Easy walk into Peterhead to get food and drink. We had a lovely stay, thank you.
Good views!

Busy campsite, probably better for motorhomes than tents (which it isn't really set up for). However, there were good facilities, good service and we enjoyed the view over the bay.

Stayed here for 5 nights in April 2022. Site warden George was great and the site location was very nice, right in the bay next to the lovely beach and close to Peterhead. Free wi-fi access is always a bonus. There was a nice play area for the kids and a small onsite shop (not much in stock though, maybe a little early in the season). The downside was the toilet/shower facilities - there's more pressure in our motorhome shower that the showers on offer, and the toilets/showers are in need of an overhaul. £3 allowance per day for electricity included in the daily charge, any thing over needs to be paid for.

We stayed here for one night in our campervan and had a stunning view over the Marina. The site was peaceful and clean. Located close to the town centre. We actually walked into the town and had a pub supper. The toilets are clean and warm and the warden is very helpful and friendly. There is a great play park and we noticed some cool looking glamping pods on the site.

We just needed a wee night away as a family of 3 and it was absolutely lovely. The beach right there was lovely, the staff and facilities were lovely and the locals were lovely, especially meeting all the wee dogs. Will definitely be back in the next few months.

This is a small private site with a mixture of static caravans and touring caravans/motorhomes. It's at the bottom of a steep hill and not sign-posted from the main road. The site warden was very friendly and helpful. The toilet/shower block was very clean. The site is on a very small beach which is ideal for walking the dogs. I would say this is a stop-over site rather than one for staying for a few days, we did this on our way further north. We ordered a takeaway which was delivered to the site, as the weather was too bad to walk the 30 mins or so into Peterhead itself. £3 of electricity is included in the price, £25.80 for one night, which was a little overpriced but we paid another £3 not wanting to run out during the evening.

Small, very neat, and tidy site on the outskirts of Peterhead. Short walk into Peterhead. Quiet location on the beach at the Lido. Facilities were currently closed so cannot comment. Warden was very helpful. Code-controlled laundry and Elsan. Ice cream and coffee kiosk also closed due to the time of the year (December). The site has a mix of tourers, statics, and lodges. All in all a good site.
