We stayed here for a week and it was lovely. The cleanliness of toilets and showers were amazing and the showers did get nice and hot. The owners were great very pleasant and courteous and even had an electric cable for us to borrow as ours wasn't long enough... Newbie error. The site is a great location for Mablethorpe and Skegness and there is a lovely ice cream dairy 2 minutes down the road. The site is very pet-friendly and there seemed to be a lot of good walks nearby. I found the pricing modest as well, especially for the time of year we went. There is nothing negative at all to say about this site. If you're after a nice quiet site but close to attractions this is a great site to choose. I did notice a nice children's play area and saw lots of kids having fun on their bikes and playing.

A nice caravan park to stay on. You can get the bus to go north or south just outside the main entrance. Clean facilities and very good disposable points, site is level and plenty of room between your unit. The owners are very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this site and will be returning again.

Absolutely beautiful, the owners were really nice and helpful. We stayed in the 4 person pod. Very comfortable and just what we needed, next to the toilet and shower room. Perfect location to travel to Mablethorpe for the day. 100%

We had a wonderful stay at Country Meadow caravan & camping site. Great location, very near to Sutton on Sea which is a quaint & beautiful seaside town, but with Mablethorpe & Skegness within a short drive too if you wanted a livelier seaside experience. The site is family run, is spotlessly clean and had all we needed for a wonderful retreat in the peaceful countryside. Dog friendly with a dog walking area just opposite the site across the road, perfect for an early morning/evening stroll. The toilets and showers were kept so clean, with a small charge (50p) for the 10 mins hot shower, which was well worth it! Has a great indoor washing up area, book loan & local information area, and has a separate accessible toilet. All in all, a fantastic gem of a site, very reasonably priced with lovely, friendly owners who are there not just to meet and greet you, but in case of anything else you need during your stay. This well kept, peaceful site is a real credit to them. We will definitely return!

Very friendly, clean, relaxing site. Good facilities, everything was close to hand. Going into Sutton on Sea, there's a very nice fish & chip shop on the left hand side going towards the beach. I would recommend this site for a relaxing break. We would use again.

Great hosts, clean and well presented site, peaceful and relaxing. Only downside is having to pay for electric token and showers. I would rather pay a little more a night and these be included as this would make it a 5* all the way for me. But that's my personal opinion and wouldn't stop us staying again.

Very clean, lovely hosts very helpful. If I had any dislikes, it would be the fact of having to buy electricity as we run out during the night. I would much prefer it being in with the price. Other than that, we had a lovely stay.

The only disappointing feature was the little park was locked most of the time. The owner said it was too windy.

Cleanest site ever been on. Owners really nice and helpful. Only downside, need a car as not near anywhere and no footpaths.

A little out of the way if you wanted to walk somewhere and there's no paths along the roadside, not very good to walk the dog. Nice near site, noisy big dog! But was okay, could do with a couple more toilets/shower facilities. Would stay again.
Site's response
Thank you for choosing to visit our touring site. Yes we are a rural caravan site located away from the nearest town of Sutton on Sea, which is 2 miles away. As we are a rural site, then there is no public foot pavement along the road side, however there are public footpaths across the fields opposite the campsite where you are allowed to walk dogs. For the toilet and showers, we have to comply with council regulations, which we do. However, council regulations say that we do not have to supply showers. Guests could always use their own facilities in their own vehicles.

Extremely friendly welcoming from very nice and friendly people. Husband and wife team. Faultless in their approach and behaviour. Close to A52 so quite noisy. Male shower block could do with some cilit bang to remove the mould from the corners. Toilets were clean. 2 miles walk into town for nearest facilities etc.

This was the first time we stayed away in our caravan. This owner are based on sites and were helpful and friendly. Keith walked us to our pitch and helped us get set up, lending us a bump hammer for our canopy pegs. The facilities were very clean I would recommend to any new or experiance caravaners Thank you Keith & Caroline

First time here- loved it, peaceful and well maintained. Although it's a family site it was mainly mature guests and the families here were well behaved, a far cry from some of the family sites we've stayed on. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay on Country Meadow Campsite, just outside Sutton on Sea. We received a warm welcome and were soon situated on our hard standing pitch. There are also grass pitches and I believe they all have electric hook up. There are several seasonal pitches and we found the 'locals' to be very friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless throughout our stay and were always quiet and private. The grounds are also very well kept. It is situated on the main road into Sutton, which some other reviewers had mentioned, but this is quiet Sutton, not the M1 and any noise from vehicles going by didn't bother us at all. It is a 5 minute drive, or a delightful, quiet walk, mainly along a footpath and the seafront, into Sutton. We enjoyed the walk, but it may be something to consider if you are less able. I believe there is an hourly bus. All in all a delightful stay on a lovely little campsite.

Great location, ideal if you want a quieter site. Facilities were good, not seen charges for using showers before, didn't really like that. Utility room was great, but there's only one sink so you may have to queue. Pod was super, good value for money and comfortable.
