Had a lovely 3 nights stay here. It was a shame about the weather was it was raining on the day we left but beautiful on the other days. Lovely campsite and surroundings with a nice village pub a five min walk away. Very friendly people on camp. Good washing up facilities and the toilets/showers were always kept nice and clean. The managers, Karen & Simon, were so helpful and lovely. Even the day we were leaving, because of the bad rain, they said no rush because we had a trailer tent. We definitely will come back and bring our dog next time as it's nice to see dogs on leads and owners respectful of this. We definitely recommend this campsite.

1st trip this year but 3rd trip to this site, nice restful 3 nights away. Ground was a bit boggy but that's because of all the rain we have had in Kent in March. Simon and Karen are great hosts and run the site very well. The Alma pub is a few minutes walk away, with nice food and a nice beer garden. But book, as always very busy. We will be back to the site again this year.
Friendly, personal service

I had a warm welcome with clear instructions. The site is close to a good pub and all the activities I needed, so was ideal for me. Also, I locked my keys (and phone) in the van just before leaving and I was helped in every way and not made to feel a nuisance at all!

This is a great site and we had a wonderful time there. Great situation- in the countryside but not in the middle of nowhere- a relaxed and calm vibe. You can just hear the motorway but it is a low hum in the background, not intrusive. The nearby pub is great for food and drink and the local village really nice. There is also a nice walk into Fakenham that takes about an hour- perfect. The facilities are great for a small site and are scrupulously clean at all times. Our only comment would be on the showers. A 10 minute limit is fine but the pressure we found a little low and the fittings are probably due an upgrade. The site managers were fantastic- welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough. Also, this site had the best Wi-Fi signal we have experienced. We had a great time.

Great little campsite. Mixture of both tents and MH/trailer with electric and non-electric pitches available. Lovely site managers who stay on site and run a small shop for essentials. Facilities are fine, with showers that provide 10 mins of hot water rather than the swimming pool variety that requires a push every 10 seconds. Fire pits and logs available to purchase. Pub and a small playground just up the road. 20 mins or so to Whitstable and Canterbury for days out.

Lovely site, very friendly welcome, pub nearby, we enjoyed exploring Faversham. We only stated one night as main purpose was to try out our new tent, but would go back again for longer when it is warmer.

I cannot wait to come back and camp here; such a beautiful little site with all the basics you need. It was a perfect introduction to camping for my friend, who throughly enjoyed her stay even with bad weather. Whole site was friendly, quite and clean. Looking forward to my next trip.

Such a lovely and quiet place to retrieve from a busy city life. Thank you to Karen and Simon for being such an amazing and welcoming hosts throughout. The only downside if you are in a tent that is; one can hear a far away M2 at night but that is if you only have a trouble sleeping like I do at times. I will definitely be back and would recommend. Thank you, from Yvonne "Brokenfoot"😅😆

We highly enjoyed our stay at Painters Farm Campsite. The site is clean and well maintained and facilities (good showers, freezer) were available without added cost.

Clean, lovely and peaceful site. Beautiful sunset. Feels like a very relaxed environment and we were here for the second time as we liked it so much the first time. Our cons would be that the motorway is audible as it is not far from site. Not too loud but noticeable in the morning when the commute hum begins and a little pricy considering a campervan is basically fully self contained but we have enjoyed our stay both times.

After fighting all the road closures, we eventually found the site. Which was an amazing farm/campsite. The owners were very welcoming even when we'd driven 3+ hours and somehow managed to forget part of our tent!! They offered a tent of their own which many sites wouldn't even consider doing for a stranger. Anything we needed at any time, they were there to help. Very friendly service and lovely campsite with some great views of the surrounding fields. Nice pub within a few minutes' walk, good food and of course good beer! Very impressed and we will certainly be returning…. with a tent 😅
