Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2023

What a great find this campsite was! We have two young girls and we came for a couple of nights to give them their first experience of camping. They both loved it, as did we! Staff and facilities were great and the kids loved the playground. We will definitely be back, and recommend this campsite for families.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2022

Lovely, quiet campsite. A perfect size for our small family and our first time camping with a 1 year old. We were in a good spot, but on the pitches by the park area you can hear the main road. Clean facilities and a cute book sale located nearby. Could do with a baby change unit, but they are saying they are having new showers etc. Be nice to see what they sold in their shop and would be ideal if they sold any camping essentials. Maybe the site could suggest any local places to see. Overall I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Site's response

Many thanks for your comments, we are indeed adding a baby changing facility as soon as possible. We do have an information board and leaflets just by reception. Look forward to seeing you again.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJun 2022

We had a fabulous time staying at Haywood Park! We were two families camping together and had plenty of room and parking nearby, which was great for the kids to run around amongst the pitches. The children (aged 4,4,6 and 6) had the best time playing on all of the activities (and exploring the woods) - it was a really brilliant campsite. As a parent of small children, it was great being able to camp near the play area and keep an eye - it was very safe - and also really easy to relax. The facilities and staff were really friendly; the Jubilee tea and cake party was such a lovely unexpected addition that we really enjoyed. We would all love to go back.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2022

The site is beautiful with well tended pitches, wild patches, a wood and ponds. The kids were never bored with a wooden climbing frame and tree house, football pitch w/goals, badminton net, pool table, pingpong and table football. The facilities were always clean, and plentiful! We used the onsite shop for ice-creams and soft drinks. The staff were really helpful and friendly. We would return for sure!

Site's response

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesApr 2022

Lovely place to stay with the kids. Good washing facilities and fridge and freezer. Brilliant kids games and play areas, lovely walks locally. My family and I had a lovely time. A bit close to the M50 for us so had a few sleepless nights but if you're used to traffic noise, then it is a lovely place to stay.

Site's response

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for your review and your kind comments. Having been here a year now, we notice that there is slightly more noise in the winter/spring months due to the tree foliage not being grown. That with the very high winds during your stay, highlighted any noise more than usual.
