Graston Copse Holiday Park is idyllic and peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. The River Bride flows past the park and there is a dog walk and riverside walk around the park as well as a public riverside walk to the village of Burton Bradstock with its pretty 16th and 17th century thatched cottages, shops and pubs. Hive Beach on the Jurassic Coast is just a one mile walk.

Wonderful site in a beautiful peaceful setting. A really short walk to Burton Bradstock, which is a stunning village and a little further to walk to Hive Beach. I would definitely visit again.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

We were very surprised by the site. At a little over £25 a night for a grass pitch with EHU, we found the pitch size much larger than many other sites with plenty of space between vans. It is very close to the river with walks all around the site. It is also only 0.8 miles walk along the river bank to Burton Bradstock and the local pubs. We were there after the schools returned, which made it very peaceful and only the weather was the real negative. The shower blocks are limited with only 3 showers in the men's and ladies (although there are also a couple of unisex bathrooms). I guess this could be a bit of a negative in the height of the season. There is no other facilities at the site such as playgrounds, cafe but this did not detract for our enjoyment. Will we return. Most certainly. Right price, great location, peaceful and check in online prior to arrival made it very easy.

VW-Type Campervan - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Nice site, hidden away down a narrow lane. Well located for country walks and access to the beach. The river running along the edge of the dog walking meadow was a treat and meant that the dogs were always clean when returning from a cross country walk! Facilities are clean, hot water was plentiful. Nice relaxed atmosphere in general.

We are pleased that you had a relaxing time.

The site was in a great location, tucked away down a narrow quiet lane, we didn't see any staff for our whole stay but entry was easy and all instructions clear. Facilities were spotless and everything you needed was there. We were in Lower Meadow which was a great flat pitch and very quiet.

Thank you for the great feedback.

Fantastic campsite with big pitches and fab dog walking spaces. Good location and clean facilities. Quiet and considerate campers. Only negative is the long walk to showers and toilets. Washing up facilities not very user friendly as very cramped.

Thank you for your review and comments which we will pass on.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2024

The site was quiet, with plenty of space for children to play without disturbing other visitors. The river and woodland walks were nice for a short stroll each day. From our pitch, it was quite a distance to the facilities, which didn't affect us but may be an issue for some visitors, especially those with younger children. Phone service was patchy (a drama for the teens) however, the on-site Wi-Fi solved the problem.

Thank you for your feedback.

A good location with satisfactory amenities. Friendly & helpful staff. The site wasn't overly busy but I would suspect that with only 2 showers available, there would be long queues in busy months. Also, the length of time the shower stays on needs to be longer, around 15 secs before it goes off I feel is insufficient.

Trailer Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2024

The site & the facilities were extremely well kept. The staff couldn't have been more helpful & made us feel very welcome. The pitches were very generous & there was lots of choice, they were also level, which made pitching easy. A note of caution if you have an EV, while we were there we were unable to get the on site chargers to work - you also have to download an app on which you need to add money in order to charge your vehicle. During our stay, there was some kind of music festival very close to the site which was so loud on Friday to Sunday night & went on until after midnight all 3 nights. It would have been good had we been warned about this at booking so we could have decided whether we wanted to continue with the booking or not. As we had our young granddaughter staying with us, we probably would not have booked if we'd been warned of this at the time of our booking. As the site is not always attended by staff, there were some people who took advantage of this and had their music loud enough that most of the site could hear it, this also went on beyond the quiet time of 11:00 pm. It spoiled the quiet of the evenings we had experienced before their arrival and had there been staff on site, they could have taken care of this. The internet package is probably not worth having, we got a week's access for our son & it dropped out so much, it felt like it was a waste of money. We know not everyone wants internet while on holiday but we did, we paid for it & it was not worth it!

Site's response

Thank you for your comments which we take onboard. We are sorry if other noisy campers disturbed your stay with us.

Wonderful stay. Lovely pitches, great location and very dog friendly, with some lovely dog walks within the campsite. The grass pitches are a slightly longer walk to the facilities, I would probably book a gravel pitch next time. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Really nice site, grass nicely mown, showers and toilets very clean. Wardens were regularly seen wiping down outside of the main cleaning time and were always friendly. The site is lovely and quiet with a good, mown dog walk. Easy walk into Burton Bradstock and easy access onto main roads to explore the Dorset area. We will return.

Site's response

Thank you from all of the team for your lovely review.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2024

The site is very well managed, the wash rooms are cleaned regularly, any noise is stopped at 11pm. You can easily walk to the beach and Burton Bradstock, there is an Italian restaurant at Bredy Farm 5 mins drive away.. You can't reserve a pitch in advance but if you are in a motorhome, you can borrow a reserved sign and so go out without losing your pitch. I would return if I'm in the area and I think you can use the facilities at the other sites, which are not far away.

Site's response

Thank you for your review. You may use the leisure centre, footgolf andsoft play (charges apply) at our other park, Highlands End.

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2024

We chose this site because there wasn't a lot on it. Our kids do not come away with us anymore, so we don't want to spend our holidays with other people's kids running around our tent! Location was great. We didn't use our car as the public footpaths took us everywhere we needed. Mainly to the pub and Hive beach. It was quiet, this could be because it was June. The toilets and showers were kept clean.

Site's response

We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2024

Just got home from a 4 night stay with family and our dogs. I have to say this is by far one of the best campsites I have stayed at! Lovely site with beautiful surroundings. The pitches are a great size (we booked 2 electric). The fields are well kept. There is a dog exercise meadow which is fenced and well maintained. The woodland walk is a great addition and full of wildlife. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The facilities were the cleanest and nicest smelling I have used! Plenty of showers and space. The only negative (it was hard to think of any) is that the electric pitch field is quite a walk from the toilet block. An additional small toilet for the back electric field would be great but honestly this campsite was so lovely! We will definitely be staying there again and would highly recommend for a quiet and relaxing break!

Site's response

What a lovely review we are very proud.

Large Tent - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

Is advertised as a quiet campsite, was anything but. It had ravens and crows squawking all day until around 10pm and started back up again around 3.30am. It was very disappointing and I felt I should have been notified. They also were selling wood/logs in the reception for fire pits, but these was not allowed on site, which seemed like a double standard. Was disappointed overall.

Site's response

Thank you for your feedback. We are a rural park so there will be bird noise as we are surrounded by woodland. We allow smokeless firepits raised off the ground.

Nice and quiet

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass PitchesApr 2024

When I read the listing, I thought it was for a quiet site with starry skies and wildlife. Which is true. But it was also quite a large holiday park with statics... I was a bit shocked. We were very lucky, we got the lower camping meadow to ourselves and it didn't feel busy at all in our little bit. The dog walking field was greatly appreciated by Albert, and we had a lovely stay. You can walk down to the beach in 35 minutes apparently, although we didn't try it. Showers were hot, the toilets were spotlessly clean and there was recycling points. We had a lovely couple of nights, but it was a quiet time of year (end of April). Lots of thought for wildlife.

Thank you for your review, we are glad that you had a lovely stay.
