About Cannamore Camping
Whether you're looking to surround yourself with nature or kick back and immerse yourself in the rolling Devon countryside, this almost wild camping and glamping site is an ideal base to set up camp! Facilities are modern and well specified with flushing loos and good hot showers giving that little bit of luxury where it counts. Tents, smaller campers, trailer tents and caravans are all welcome on the select range of unmarked grass pitches. You could spend all day looking at the view and listening to the birdsong or pick up one of the several nearby footpaths and explore the countryside across fields and down almost forgotten shady lanes and tracks. Alternatively, you can opt to stay in one of the spacious bell tents, sleeping either four or five - they are also ideal for couples looking for a private yet roomy glamping escape in the countryside. Interior is unfurnished so don't forget to bring your gear. Your bolthole for two might be the shepherd hut, furnished with a comfy bed, kitchen area and more. It has electric and is pet friendly. Nature is never far away with bumble bees, dragonflies and butterflies all attracted by the wildflower meadow. If you are very lucky you might even get an early morning or late night glimpse of a Roe Deer or two - although they are very shy so you'll need to be very quiet! Dogs are welcome onsite. The site is licensed by the Woodland Champions Club, helping landowners create and manage woodland for the public to enjoy.
Cannamore Camping is open all year round in 2024 and from 02/01 to 21/12 in 2025.
