Very clean facilities and well kept pitches, including some lovely flowers. All staff the were friendly and polite. One staff member was particularly helpful, they even got the morning newspaper to us. I think his name is Chris.

A lovely site well situated in a lovely valley, with steep hillsides and a beach nearby. The facilities were immaculate. Highly recommended.

I think the campsite should have informed us that the accessibility to this site is very tight. There is a sign installed by the council informing the road is unsuitable for long vehicles, this I discovered at my cost. If you get the entrance end of the park you may need a taxi to get access to the facilities at the other end. The village is very run down and the only shop is a garage that is expensive. The cottage at the far end of the site does do breakfast, but to our embarrassment, you've got to book 2 days ahead. After all the negative comments, I must say the staff are very helpful and polite, and it is very clean and maintained. A small shop/café would not go amiss as it is a lovely spot.

We stayed in a campervan (2 adults, 2 kids) in April, found the place easily and it's within walking distance of good shops and a lovely beach at Hele Bay. The pitch was well equipped with electric hook-up, water, a dog washing station (also useful for kids with muddy feet!), dish washing area and the shower/toilet rooms were clean and spacious with plenty of privacy. Lots of lovely walks nearby and we found kayaking, pony trekking, a great honey farm attraction and other stuff without even needing to book in advance. The only reason I'm giving the facilities 3 stars is that it's pretty inconvenient from the point of view of a holiday maker looking for a lie-in and leisurely start to the day with lunch at camp before going out (not asking much right?) that the entire shower/toilet/washing up etc block is closed from 11am to 1pm every day. And secondly, when you're in a place where both EE and O2 only get a floaty-in-and-out H+ signal, Wi-Fi is pretty important, but while there were loads of signals, we couldn't connect to them. Phones and laptops got stuck on "obtaining IP address", only the IT whizz amongst us could get his phone on and everyone had to hotspot off him, which was a pain. Those aren't reasons not to go there, it's still worth it, especially considering how understanding they were about me mashing up their grass with the van like an idiot (sorry!!!). But just a couple of things to beware of and plan around so you don't get caught out.

We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Our pitch was ideal, with both electric and water on hand. The park itself was well maintained with lovely plants surrounding the environment. Toilet/shower facilities were nice and clean with plenty of room to manoeuvre.
Great!

Hot water not always great in bathrooms but lovely quiet location, park for children and place they can safely ride bikes. Friendly and accommodating service. Walks and the Cove on doorstep, with local shop which has most things you could need.
Great park but not too big.

Short walk to the beach. Great facilities, really friendly and helpful staff, we wish we booked for longer. Great for pets too, even dog washing.

Great stay, the caravan site is clean and well kept. The toilet block is very clean, and toilets and shower are in the same cubicle, which is an added bonus. Staff friendly.

Professionally run, excellent location within a 20 min walk to the harbour and even closer to Hele beach, cafes and bars. Immaculate wash facilities and manicured individual plots.

We visited in Oct 23, so out of season. The site was extremely clean and tidy, with good size pitches and hook up. Showers and loos were of a high standard, there was a childrenâs playground that we didnât use. Good location for walking to pubs, the beach and a footpath for a 20min walk into Ilfracombe. Very friendly and helpful man on reception. The only negative we had was the tight hairpin bend to turn off the main road - we drove past the site and turned in a carpark/picnic area to make it easier. The roads inside the campsite are also quite narrow so we were relieved that most of the pitches were empty. We had a good time and would consider returning.

This is our first time staying here, but we will definitely be back. We stayed here for four nights and had a lovely time visiting local landmarks. The site and facilities were well maintained and very clean. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. We have no faults for it at all, a 5 star site.
Beautiful site, very friendly staff and spotless

Excellent, clean campsite. Staff friendly and helpful and local knowledge was super helpful. It is hilly and we should have checked beforehand and ignored satnav! I realised a few weeks before we went that our awning and van was on the large size but messaged the site and they swapped us to a larger pitch without issue.

Lovely, quiet site with very clean toilets and showers, until the last day when a new intake spoilt that. Some people just think that everyone else should clean up their mess after them! Very hilly to walk anywhere, but if you're able, it's worth the effort. Our only gripe would be that the shower operates on a push button. A conventional tap would be much nicer. As I said, lovely site, we would definitely visit again.

Fantastic site 10 mins walk to dog friendly beach. Very tight turns if you have a motorhome, but that's Devon. Quiet & relaxing, well kept site.
