With easy access to Exmouth's golden sand beaches, as well as the rest of the Devon coasts, Browns Farm is sure to provide something for tourers and campers. This family-run the site adjoins a 14th century working farm and farmhouse. The three acre level access site has both grass and hardstanding pitches, all of which back onto hedgerows for some tranquillity and privacy. A great base for exploring Devon's lovely coastlines.

Booked online at the last minute, very lucky to have found a great place to stay during our tour.
Good pitch but felt the facilities were a little tired

We had a lovely hardstanding pitch with water, grey waste and electric. We felt the ladies and gents facilities were tired and a bit grubby. The laundry facilities were excellent and great value for money. There were two unisex showers in the laundry room which were newer and pleasant to use.
Site's response
We are pleased that you liked your pitch. It is inevitable when new facilities are installed that the existing ones will look a little jaded in comparison. However, it should be noted that the shower units in the areas mentioned are both less than one year old and the hand basins in the gents facilities were newly installed this year. The facilities are cleaned and checked daily.

We received a friendly greeting and were offered our pick of several pitches. The hardstandings all seemed pretty level and are spaced around a well maintained green area, with mature hedges separating them. The facilities were really clean, and the water in the showers was nice and hot. There is a small laundry area, with local information and recommendations for several local pubs and an outside washing up area which has some cover. The site is handy for visiting the East Devon AONB and we'd definitely stay again.

Friendly welcome. Good facilities, even if slightly dated, but hot shower. Only issue is we found the Wi-Fi incredibly slow, it was slower than not using it at times.

A fantastic, well spaced and very tidy site. The plots are not too close to each other and the grounds were immaculate. It was quiet, secluded and well sheltered from bad weather. The amenities were more than adequate and always kept clean and tidy at all times. Hook-up and Wi-Fi were totally reliable. There were very friendly staff along with other patrons.

Lovely situation on a working farm (complete with strong farmyard odours!). Rather too close to a busy-ish road meant it was less peaceful than we would have wished. Convenient for Budleigh, Sidmouth and Exeter.

Very friendly hosts. Park very peaceful with a tap on every pitch so no carrying water at all. Lovely location and great food and cider at The Diggers Rest, less than 10 mins stroll away also a very warm welcome from the locals.

Very lovely site, staff was lovely and helpful. The facilities are a bit dated but worked fine and were not very clean, but we think that was due to the number of people using them. Beautiful scenery and lovely walks, definitely stay again. Stay on both the electric and the non electric bit was great.
Lovey little site

Site was small but absolutely perfect. It was well presented and kept tidy. It was peaceful, well, until we turned up with 4 kiddies and a dog! Haha! Toilets were clean and cleaned daily. There was a laundry room with washer and dryer and two big family shower rooms. There was a lovely grassed area in the middle for children to play, which was good. Everything you need for a camping holiday and even free Wi-Fi! Shops within 20 min ride and lovely farm shop selling everything with animals to walk round and a little park for free too. Would recommend following the website directions and not the sat-nav as the lane was single and very narrow.
Spotless, quiet and well maintained site.

Only a 2 night weekend stay. Met on arrival and shown pitch straight away. Ideal for a couple our age (60 plus). Very quiet small family run site. No extra amenities, like a shop, but location ideal for Exmouth, Sidmouth etc. Nice touch with ice cream van driving around site even though it was pouring with rain.

What a lovely little site Brown's Farm is. Visited for only one night in my motorhome but was made to feel very welcome. Shower and toilet block was thoroughly clean with everything functional. Site was well-maintained and very tidy. Will definitely go back.

Excellent, lovely, clean site - highly recommended. It was extremely peaceful. We loved hearing the cows mooing in the morning, our 2 year old grandson thought it was great! Staff were very friendly, would definitely go back. Close to Donkey Sanctuary, which is free and well worth a visit. Some roads are narrow leading to the site but not too bad.
Peaceful Spot!
