Great reception, friendly helpful staff, good location with views to the channel, best of all no dogs on site!

Great place and very clean. Tent area is a bit hilly so that's the only thing that knocked some points off for me. Overall very good and would recommend.

Wouldn't recommend this site if you have a larger motorhome. Very uneven and slopes. Tiny little field and only cabins for toilet and showers. Long walk to Dartmouth, taxi is £16 each way. Views and area are amazing and the reception ladies are super friendly and helpful.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We do our best to accommodate large motorhomes by advertising access on our website, but unfortunately we do have a narrow entrance. I will pass your kind comments onto our receptionists. Thanks and we hope to see you again soon.

The park mainly caters for holiday homes, rather than tourers.
Site's response
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate all feedback from guests. We clean the wash facilities multiple times throughout the day and open our shop and laundry during the day. We would be grateful if you could elaborate on your feedback by sending us an email so we can improve our touring facilities for future guests. Thank you

Stayed for 1 night, really helpful staff showed us where everything was. Great sea views from the campsite and really close to good things to do in Dartmouth and Blackpool Sands.
Site's response
Thank you, Cerys, for your kind review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and we hope to see you again soon!

Lovely campsite location, staff are friendly. Good sized pitches, although £90 for three nights in small 3 man tent with standard pitch is on the high side. Car parking is tight and on a incline, my clutch was smoking. Not the place you want to stay there all day as it can be difficult to relax as ball games on such a small pitch are not discouraged, either through signage or policing.
Site's response
Thank you for leaving a review, John, we're glad you enjoyed our location. We're sorry you felt our price was a little high, we try and keep it fair with our on-site facilities and sea views. We'll look into signage on the site and there are multiple car parks guests can use for camping, most of them flat. These are shown on the site map that is included in prearrival emails but we will look into making this clearer. We also advertise our rec field, opposite the main camping field, as a space for playing and ball games, sorry if this was not communicated well enough and you felt disturbed. Thanks again and we hope to see you again soon.

Idyllic setting looking out to sea. A 15 minute walk down to the beach. Great coastal walks into Dartmouth and in the opposite direction. Quite steep hills in places so you'd need to be fairly fit. Steam railway and a small castle in Dartmouth. So plenty to see. Bars/restaurants in Dartmouth a bit pricey so we'd take a packed lunch another time!! A pub and small shop in the village and a restaurant and takeaway cabin/van on site. Lovely scenery. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
