Great weekend away at Barn Farm. The site was kept very clean and staff were regularly spotted making sure everyone was well taken care of and behaving themselves. One slight gripe was that the onsite store remained closed throughout our time there.

Fantastic campsite and excellent facilities. Stayed with 4 children, lots to do for all ages. Family-friendly site. Great pubs within walking distance. Would highly recommend the food in both the Red lion and Druid Inn. Staff worked hard to keep the site clean and tidy.

Such a good campsite - enjoyed every night! Great facilities, and a nice and clear map of where everything you need is. The peacocks made it even better, haha!

Stayed with family and grandchildren for their first camping experience. Absolutely perfect. Clean, well kept, manicured, everything thought out for everyone. Large fields, some slopes. Peacocks everywhere, amazing to see them having free run and flight! On the NT walking path - lovely walk up to Stanton Moor. Great village with 2 pubs 15 min walk from tent. Thanks to the staff who run this and obviously take pride in what they do. No complaints whatsoever. Thanks for all the hard work you all must have put into this place for making it so good. Definitely one to go back to.

We had a wonderful experience staying in Barn Farm Campsite. Beautiful location and plenty of peacocks around the farm. My 3 year old little one really enjoyed his stay at the campsite. Very well maintained and having a shop near the reception where essential items can be purchased was great.

Pleasant weekend in the Derbyshire sunshine, with 3 sets of family members. The campsite was clean and well looked after. Plenty of local walks and nearby pubs for refreshments/ food if you don't want to eat at the tent. Thoroughly enjoyable short break.
Gorgeous location, we'll be back for sure!

An absolutely amazing campsite! It has all the essentials you need, a great park area for the kids and brilliant free outdoor games in the sunshine! It was the best start to our camping trips as a family. We will certainly be back as soon as we can! There is also a lot to explore in the surrounding areas, you'll not be bored here!

Wow I can't wait to come back. The roaming peacocks and peahens were magical for my toddler. 🦚 Facilities were pristine, perfect location and our lunch at the nearby Druid Inn was perfection.

I've stayed at many campsites over the years and this is without doubt the best. Great staff. Lovely clean facilities plus a shop, sauna, games room, laundry and vending machines. Security patrol in the evenings. Just couldn't be better.

Lovely peaceful site in scenic surroundings. Well kept camping areas and beautifully tended grounds. Great for walks. The Druid Inn is within walking distance, which also has very friendly, welcoming staff. Bus stop within walking distance - we didn't use the service this trip but we hope to return.

Lovely countryside views, easy check in, and a great selection of pitches. Loved the peacocks. We tried to book the end of May but unfortunately they are fully booked 🙁 but we will be back!

A beautiful site in a stunning location. Facilities are immaculate. The park is pristine and in a great location for so many walks, pubs, historical houses and even a flour mill.

Great site in a lovely location. The facilities are spotlessly clean. The only downside is the shop doesn't open during the weekend, so there's nowhere to get milk etc. if you run out.

This is a great campsite with very good facilities. Everyone was very hospitable and respectful of each other. Large pitches and short grass. The only downside was Mother Nature and the peacocks that start their screaming calls at 4am onwards. Overall a great campsite in a good location with lots of walks nearby. There are two pubs that do evening meals 5.00 to 7.30 ish - need to book in advance for Friday and Saturday. The bus stop is 5 mins away and a bus comes every two hours to Bakewell, allowing you to explore Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton without driving.

We were very impressed with the site and will probably go again, but beware that the toilets and showers are a long walk from the electric grass pitches. Maybe just a couple of loos nearer would be👍

We had a lovely short break at Barn Farm campsite. The site is really well kept, spacious and well equipped. Views from all pitches are amazing. Staff all really efficient and friendly. Facilities kept clean. It was surprisingly quiet despite multiple D of E students on site at the time of our stay. Lots of lovely walking locally, direct from the site, to suit all abilities. Access to site via A5056 really easy. Both pubs in village do nice food but worth booking in advance to avoid disappointment. The Red Lion food was exceptional despite the ordinary looking exterior of the pub. Would definitely recommend the site and will come again - it's a beautiful location and extremely good value.

Great facilities, beautiful area with lots of places to visit! We only had 2 nights here so just visited Buxton which was very nice. The little village of Birchover close to the farm is also very nice. There were lots of walks with spectacular views and I must mention the wild life: peacocks, swallows, rabbits... just lovely!

Stayed here twice now - great facilities, the family bathroom is a real bonus with small children. The staff are helpful and the peacocks are great to look at (if a little noisy!). The field is massive with plenty of good pitch choices and never feels too crowded.

Our second stay at the beautiful Barn Farm! We have recommended this site to all our family who joined us for this stay. The facilities are great, they have everything you need in the showers & toilets (plus they are warm and exceptionally clean!). The games room and playground is great for the kids, plus there are always some games available on a separate grassy area. A massive bonus to the site is the food & drinks vans that come on most Bank Holidays, a great addition! Staff have always been very helpful, and the site is exceptional clean everywhere. All in all a friendly, clean, fun site.

Only issue, and can't be helped, was that the farm has peacocks. They make noise at all times of day and night. That aside, I would still go back.
Fantastic!

Second stay, really good. Nice, well run site with plenty of space and great facilities. Feels safe for the kids and lots to do, with a small games room, playground and space to kick a ball. Lots of good local walks with some climbing / rocks and decent pubs within a short stroll. Never had to use the car on our short stays. Would go again for sure. Thanks.
