Very good stay, large campsite with lots of space to pitch our tent. Amazing location with great walking routes. Facilities were very clean. Great entertainment for the bank holiday weekend, and a games room and on site food stalls. Would definitely go again!

Very well located campsite for local walks and trips to neighbouring towns (Bakewell/Matlock etc). Facilities at the campsite (toilets, showers, shop, games room) are excellent. Onsite car, butty van, pop up pasta kitchen and pancake stall were all really good. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
Lovely, but loud

Lovely stay, great to be able to choose where we pitch. Nice flat field. Toilets clean however out of paper in every cubicle most of the time, even after reporting to staff members. Bank holiday activities were great for kids. Easily accessible to good walks from the site. Sleep was not good however due to music being played and loud talking and shouting from next door tent and also from 2 very large DofE groups. Shame this was not kept under control by the steward. We've stayed here twice before and it was not like this, so probably would put it down to a busy weekend.
Excellent as always

Great campsite in a lovely location. Nice and quiet at night with good facilities. The owner and their team worked really hard to keep the facilities clean despite the challenges of the wet weather. Lots of activities and food stalls to mark the coronation. The peacocks are definitely a different feature for a campsite! Would definitely recommend.

Our second visit. Great campsite. Lots of slopes on the fields but plenty of room to manage this. Field held up well given the rain and cars on and off. Lots of facilities and all great condition. Cleaned regularly (tough job with all the mud and grass). They organise activities at bank holidays and we enjoyed watching the coronation in the barn. Great, quiet location with lots of day trips nearby.

Fantastic campsite. Staff really helpful and even helped me reverse my caravan. Great location, a short walk to Stanton Moor to the Nine Ladies Stone Circle. All facilities were neat and tidy.

Great site, great staff, clean, spacious facilities, perfect for families! We did unfortunately have pretty bad weather, so much rain and it did get extremely muddy! We still had a great time though. Event on for the coronation, we really did have a brilliant time!

Amazing spot with great amenities. The location was close to Bakewell and Heights of Abraham. The showers, toilets and pot washing area were clean. The massive plus was the bacon bap van and crepe van. We also enjoyed seeing peacocks and alpacas. Highly recommended!

Great campsite, perfect for our family with three kids aged 4 to 9. Lovely area for walks, great playground and the options with food are brilliant. Best showers at any site I've stayed.

Beautiful setting with access to many footpaths. Very clean and tidy site. Even when full with the camping fields occupied, it didn't feel crowded or noisy. Would definitely come back.

This is possibly the best campsite we’ve been on- and we’ve done a few!

Well located site next to some great walks. Superb facilities, small shop on site too if you run short of essentials. Showers and toilets are all very clean, especially considering the large numbers over the Bank Holiday weekend. All types of campers and tourers catered for. Helpful staff too. The only downside might be the peacocks, beautiful to see but not so easy on the ears though! Situated in a lovely village with 2 pubs serving quality meals and drinks, definitely a site to return to again and again.
Nice site but overrun by kids

The site was lovely. We were on the hardstanding pitches, which were great. Can't really recommend it or rate the facilities as we could barely use them as there were a lot of Duke of Edinburgh kids, which we were not aware of.

Well maintained facilities, very friendly staff. Small games room and even mobile phone charging lockers (for a small fee). Lots of walks directly onto Stanton Moor from the campsite. Tried both pubs close to the campsite and couldn't fault either.
Brilliant location and site

This site is excellent. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the facilities are excellent with three shower blocks, two toilet blocks and an on site shop. The site is surrounded by lovely countryside and has stunning views. It is situated close to two pubs both serving nice meals. There are numerous walks available from the site and surrounding area.

The team were very helpful during our visit. Being new to caravanning, they even parked the caravan for me. Absolute stars!! Facilities were clean and pitch perfect.

Had a lovely few days, great views and location. Just be aware of very uneven pitches (which was expected) and toilet/shower facilities for the caravans are quite a distance away.
