A family friendly park in a picturesque setting, Callow Top is ideally placed for exploring Ashbourne, Matlock, Buxton and Bakewell. The Tissington Trail runs right by the park for cyclists and the wild rides at Alton Towers are just a quick drive away.

About Callow Top Holiday Park

Callow Top is in a lovely, elevated location with country fields for neighbours - and only an short walk from Ashbourne and its amenities. Caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents are all welcome on 10 amp electric hardstanding pitches which include grass for an awning, with spaces also for large motorhomes up to 30ft and twin axle caravans. There are also some smaller hardstanding pitches for VW campervans. For tent campers there are non electric pitches set on grass which make for the perfect camping holiday.

Facilities and amenities

Site facilities include three toilet blocks, showers and a coin operated laundry. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool (open May - Sept), children's play area and a games area with a pool tables and table tennis facilities. The Callow Inn serves a pizza and burger menu on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the season and daily through the Derbyshire school holidays. A freezer is available for ice packs and WiFi is provided inside the inn and games room (both have seasonal opening times).

Walks in the Peaks should be everyone's bucket list, and why not hire a bike from the nearby cycle hire and take advantage of direct access to the Tissington Trail for a fantastic day out.

For the little ones, there's a chance to release some energy in the play area or on the football field.

The surroundings offer excellent fishing and golf.
