Very nice and friendly place with many attractions around. I hope we will come back here.

Super location, great site

Absolutely great campsite, great location and facilities were very clean and presentable. Would highly recommend this site and will be returning to this site very soon. Short walk to town centre, pubs and cafes. Nice views from the marina out to the Solely Firth and the beach is a short walk from the site.

Nice value for money site

Nice little well maintained site with helpful staff. Would've benefited from an extra couple of showers, I stayed 2 nights and had to wait both times for shower. Large open grassed area adjacent are ideal for dogs.

Great stay at Harbour Side

Lovely site, fantastic shower and toilet block- all separate great 👍 definitely need to go back. 10/10.

Good place but not exceptional views

Very practical stay. Easy and clean. Quiet and straightforward. Very nice people. No exceptional views of the sea, though. A bit lacking for a Marina! :-)

Good place for a couple of nights

A nice and tidy campsite right on the harbour front. The was site well maintained and the facilities were good. Great breakfast served at the Marina cafe and good walks along the coast straight from the site, would stay again.

Comfortable stay

Site was clean & close to all amenities, well laid out. WC & showers were clean and well maintained.

Great little site

This site is a little gem, the staff are both friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers are very nice and kept clean at all times. The Marina view café is amazing and we really enjoyed our stay apart from the weather but our order for good weather must have got lost in the post!

Good site, everything within walking distance

Loved Maryport and the Campsite was close to all the shops, pubs and restaurants. Campite amenities were very clean but the grass could have done with a cut... we will definitely return as the people of Maryport were so friendly and everyone said hello.

Our stay

Great location in the marina. Staff were friendly and facilities very clean. Recommend the food in the marina, the cafe breakfast was fantastic.

Pleasant stay

It was a pleasure to stay here. The staff were brilliant and welcoming, and let us know where everything was. The cafe staff were brilliant as well, and very welcoming. I would recommend anyone to stay here for a nice relaxing time.

Delightful, peaceful, lovely

Decided to stay at Maryport for a few nights prior to heading to Scotland. What a nice surprise the site was. Nestled inside a harbour must make this a very unique place to stay. Although it's a small site, the facilities are super clean and very accessible. Sitting in our motorhome and watching the sailors tinkering with their yachts as well as the worker bees in the commercial harbour and lifeboat volunteers is a treat. We very quickly relaxed and got into the peaceful pace of Maryport. The locals are super friendly, very chatty and love sharing their stories about Maryport and it's ancient and recent history The Marina cafe is very new and serves a super breakfast with toast for less than a tenner, breakfast is so big you may just, like us, use it as the main meal of the day. Staff were so friendly, we quickly felt at home. If you want something very different to your usual sites, then give Maryport a go. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but give it a try and embrace it.

Lovely stay

Fab few days here. Facilities spotlessly clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Site small but well maintained. Had all we needed in the pod, but a drop down table would've been useful but not essential. Pod was warm and cosy despite torrential rain and strong winds. Would definitely stay again!

Great site

Great 2 night stay at the Harbour Side. Facilities were all clean and secure. The pitch was half hardstanding and half grass so perfect for parking up and pitching the awning. Lovely setting despite the weather on the first day.

Gorgeous small site, beautiful location, and so convenient for the town. Toilet block was spotless.

Perfect mini break

Lovely and quiet site. Perfect for a mini getaway with kids. The pods are comfy and situated right next to the facilities. Only a minute's walk from Maryport.

Harbour Side

Had a great couple of nights with a 5 year old and was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The pods were bigger than I expected and the facilities were all clean, well maintained and checked regularly. Location was great as well as you could walk to most places easily. Definitely recommend👍

Great site... location not so good

Great small park. Facilities were very clean, immaculate in fact. Reception staff were very friendly, and pitches were of a good standard. It's a good site if you intend on staying in your caravan/ motorhome for the entire stay, as the location of Maryport has seen better days. There's one convenience store on the main street and a couple of takeaways. There's about 3 pubs on the main street, all very uninviting. We did go to one pub and were looked at as if we were from another planet because we had not been seen in the town before. Does not feel very safe walking around the town, especially at night. Overall the site is great and cannot be faulted. 5 stars for the site…1 for the location.

A lovely weekend away

A pleasant stay on a welcoming, clean site made even better with lovely weather. On arrival we checked in and immediately felt welcome. Over the weekend we went on easy local walks and had a delicious breakfast in Marina Cafe. Highly recommend.
