About Macdonald's Farm
This delightful farm campsite sits in a special location atop the valley, with stunning countryside views surrounding you and only moments from Porthcothan Bay and Padstow. The selection of gently sloping yet well sized grass pitches here all cater to tents, caravans and motorhomes, with easy access to facilities and optional electric available. Alternatively, indulge in total luxury in one of the 6m bell tents! Featuring comfy double beds and bedding, and fully kitted out with a wood-burning stove, rugs, throws, fairy lights, plus electric for phone charging. Each one sleeps up to five, making them the ideal option for families or couples. They also enjoy their own private setting within the lower garden of the site, with private decking and seating as well as a fire pit for campfire cooking. Seasonal pitches also available.

Things to do on site and in the Padstow area
The farm garden area on the site provides guests with an idyllic spot to relax and have fun, whether that be with a game from the games hut, or keeping an eye on the little ones at the playground - featuring trampolines, climbing frames, swings, slides and more.
Say hello to the farm animals here too, with alpacas to meet and greet, plus horses as well as pony rides for the kids.
Bring your bucket and spade and head to Porthcothan beach, just a ten minute walk from the site or a quick five minute bus ride! Pop in for a paddle or take in the breathtaking Cornish coast on a route along the South West Coast Path. Dog friendly all year round.
