Location is good. However, although it is close to the Town of Fowey, it is not an an easy commute. A bus will drop you at the top of Fowey on the outskirts of the town and unless you are capable of dealing with walking up and down steep hills, you will need to get the minibus from the car park where the bus stops at an additional £2.70. A cab ride into Fowey from the site, which is less than a five minute ride, was £12.00 each way! For some reason all requests for an Uber fare, which would have been half the price, were never picked up. I carry a leg injury which causes balance issues and I found the pathways around the campsite really difficult to deal with. If I visit again I would try and get pitch as close to the shower block as possible. The shower block and toilets although dated are spotless. Showers are the push and hold the button type and the button stays in for about five seconds after letting go of it. Once released, the water stops. Site is maintained well with some lovely flower beds and the pitches are big with both water and electric hook up. The field we were in each pitch is separated by a small side fence which I liked. Almost all pitches have a sea view. The best of these views is gained the higher up the site you stay. Very good for dogs lots of space to walk them. Never came across the site owners so can't comment on that aspect. We were in a motorhome and although we have a long water hose, it wasn't long enough to use on the pitch without a lot of moving of the vehicle. I would recommend filling up with water at the parking bay for new arrivals, this eliminating the need for a very long hose.

A nice private site, clean tidy and was good for our requirements. I thought, a little expensive, not sure why its necessary to charge £1 per dog per night, maybe thats to empty the dog waste bin? What was disappointing was that its quite clear by website and signs that dogs should be on a leads. We love dogs, but one became a bit of a nuisance and kept turning up from the bottom campsite. There were others we saw that, although friendly, did bound up to children playing and frightened them. No-one around to gently enforce the rules. Hairdryer in the ladies didn't work. If it's there it should work, free or not. Some of the pitches were fenced off, to stop walking though. Ours wasn't and we just had campers walking through our pitch without much thought. I found this rude, bad etiquette and invasive, especially as we paid £29 per night. Maybe to fence them all off would be an idea as each time a walker passed though our pitch, our dogs barked, causing unappreciated noise. We would stay again but definitely request a fenced off pitch.

We were fortunate enough to have a single, hedged pitch with gorgeous views of the sea. It had an electric hook up and its own fresh water tap. The site is a working farm, but a relaxed family campsite and helpful friendly staff who are available by text or phone. We were near the toilet block (which was not a problem) but the hand dryer in the ladies is beyond loud and kept us awake, as it was in use on and off throughout the night. Very old fashioned showers that turn off every 10 seconds, but always had hot water. The camp suited us as it was quiet by 10:00pm. Thank you for allowing us to leave a bit later, James.

The site is situated close to Fowey, which means that you can easily walk in. Shower and toilet block were good, and cleanliness was good. The pitch that we had was level with water and electrical hook up. Overall we had an enjoyable 3 nights there

Site was nice enough but the touring field was on the side of a reasonably steep hill. This lead to an uncomfortable night as there was no way to level the van. Not suitable for anything other than small tents really. There are larger flat pitches available, had I known the field was that, bad I would have paid the extra for one of those. The 20 min walk to Fowey turned into an hour and 10 min walk.

Nice quiet site with lovely views. Easy (but hilly) walks down to either Polkerris beach or Fowey. Woody's Bike Park literally round the corner. Little shop for basics and posh burger van available some nights. Lovely big and even grass pitch for our campervan.

If you're looking for somewhere to sleep then this is a good place. You get a good view over the ocean and parts of Cornwall. Although, the shower/toilet facilities could do with a bit of an update. Showers only stay on for 20 seconds, maybe 30 if you pick the right one. Mentioned an on site games room and shop which is only half true. They have a shop, a very dark small shop with the bare basics. The games room that I believed to be on site didn't seem to exist. No signs and after looking round the whole site, including looking at the map of the site, I confirmed there was no game room. My other half where looking forward to going in there of an evening. On the whole, not the best experience, but if I had to camp near the area again I would probably choose this site.

Very relaxing and quiet. There was only one thing, the bus stop was a fair walk away, everything else was good.

What an amazing place! The grass pitches were flat, fully serviced and neatly cut. The toilets and showers were very clean. They also had a recycling point, which you do not always have on campsites. The pitch guide was very clear and also gave detailed instructions on local walks. We didn't try the farm shop, but the garage just down the road was fully stocked. You could walk here off the road as the site owners had made a footpath along the top of one of their fields. We would definitely come back here again as it is our new favourite place. The views were amazing and, as the pitches are tiered, everyone had a great view.
Amazing trip, would definitely recommend!

The location is phenomenal, only 5 mins in the car to the local town, where there's a variety of shops and restaurants. The camp site was very very clean and everyone was so lovely and friendly. Ideal for couples and families and dogs! Will 1000% be returning!

Absolutely stunning location with amazing views across the bay. We loved the walks to Fowey and Polkerris and also we loved the large sized pitches which never made us feel overcrowded and being tiered, every pitch had a spectacular view. Will definitely stay again.

We pitched without electric, the field is immaculate and well spaced out. The toilets were also very clean, with fresh cut flowers that were beautiful (certainly made me smile in the morning) good access to waste and water. There is a shop at the local garage and a walk to the pub is about 1 mile. Would definitely book this site again.

A really lovely site with great sea views! Facilities were clean and well looked after. Electric pitches were level and a good space. Would absolutely recommend. It's a 20ish minute walk to Polkerris beach, down a steepish coastal path.

We only live in St Austell and wanted to stay somewhere local to experience camping for the first time with two young girls and we had the best time! Lots of walks to go on, beach nearby, takeaway, shops not too far away and lots of space to set up home for a few days 😊 Will definitely be back!

Beautiful views from site, good facilities but could do with a little updating. We have never seen a campsite mow right up to cars and tents and we felt this was slightly intrusive.

Nestled atop an exposed hill with breathtaking views. The location alone is worth the visit! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The well-maintained grass on our non-electric pitch added to the overall charm of the site, but I must admit that finding a perfectly flat spot for our tent was a bit of a challenge. On the downside, the showers left a bit to be desired. While they were clean and functional, the touch button system proved quite frustrating, as it shut off after just 30 seconds. This made the shower experience less relaxing than we would have liked. Another area that could use improvement was the toilet paper situation. It appeared to be the thinnest and cheapest variety, reminiscent of my primary school days. Upgrading the toilet paper would definitely enhance the overall comfort of the campsite. Despite these minor inconveniences, our overall experience was positive. This campsite offers a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with friendly staff. I'd recommend this spot to anyone seeking a serene and scenic getaway, with just a few small suggestions for improvement in mind.
