Trelander is a haven of tranquillity. It's open all year round and really is a care free place to be. The grass is green and surrounded by animal friendly environment such as trees and cover in the heart of the Fens. An array of wildlife passes by all day and night and it's perfectly situated for exploring local towns such as Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge.
About Trelander Camping and Caravanning
The setting is so lovely, you can back and relax and forget about your day to day life - with 7 peaceful acres around you. You can bring your tent, caravan or motorhome with a choice of electric or non-electric pitches. You're free to pitch up wherever you'd like to onsite and the owners will leave you to enjoy. There is a fully equipped static caravan onsite for hire which is very cosy all year round. It sleeps six and has a fully functional kitchen, shower and two toilets inside. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads.

Site rules and policies
Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads. No fires or fire pits are permitted.
Arrival is from 2pm and departure is by 10am.
Things to do on site and in the Ely area
Why not fish in the River Lark on site, or walk along it and take in the lovely views. You are welcome to bring along your bikes, balls and outdoor games.
Nearby you can go fishing, swimming, or play a round of golf. See a blockbuster in the cinema and then go horse riding in the sunshine.
Cambridge isn't too far away (approx. 25 miles) it has many colleges to explore, you can take a punting tour or have a go at it yourself, there are lots of shops and eateries, a science museum, the Fitzwilliam Museum, botanical gardens and more.
The local market town of Ely has a lovely cathedral, country park, leisure park, river, Oliver Cromwell's house, an escape room, museum, bespoke shops and restaurants/cafes.
Then there is the horse racing town of Newmarket. There are many events on at the race course and museum, a selection of shops and eateries, along with the gallops.
Bury St Edmunds has a lovely abbey which often has events on, it also has a large children's play area where kids can splash in water or make a sandcastle in their sand pit. There is a market, lots of high street shops, a theatre, Greene King brewery tour, Adnams where you can make your own gin, the cathedral and eateries.
There are lots of national trust properties locally to explore while you are staying at this site.
