Beautiful location within the natural surrounding of mature woods. Wellington Country Park uses the natural surroundings of the woodlands to give a feel of being anywhere in the country. It's ideal both as a destination, especially for families, with all the facilities of the country park at hand, or as a touring base, with easy access to the M4/M3 in Berkshire. This can bring you a vast array of different locations to visit.
About Wellington Country Park
The campsite is located within a forest, using the natural terrain and landscape allowing you to experience camping in the wild. It's ideal for families. As a touring base the site has ease of access from the major motorways, where the M3/M4 open up the whole of the South East for you to visit, including major cities and seaside resorts. Pitches are set on the forest floor, with many including a gravelly or silty surface and set beautifully within natural woodlands.

This campsite is within a forest so the pitches and paths are similar to that which you would find walking through the woods, so depending on the weather, please come with the appropriate sun block, clothing and equipment
Things to do on site and in the Reading area
All campers have unlimited access to the country park and all the play facilities, attractions will allow you to try your hand at mini golf and meet furry friends at the animal farm.
Within driving distance you'll find swimming, golf, fishing, cinemas and major attractions such as Legoland, Chessington and Thorpe Park.
Due to the ease of access, London, the South Coast and major cites such as Reading, Oxford and Bath are all within an hour's drive.
