About Blackbrook Lodge Caravanning, Camping and Glamping
Peaceful family friendly camping, touring and glamping, perfect for escaping everyday life and relaxing in the Derbyshire Dales, 20 minutes from the Peak District National Park. Sit back and relax onsite around the fishing lakes or venture into the nearby countryside with plenty of trails to explore, including Tissington just 15 minutes away. There is a large range of pitches for those with tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes to choose from. There are non electric grass pitches, electric grass pitches and electric grass and hardstanding pitches. For anyone looking for something a little sturdier, you can opt for one of the four pods, each sleeping up to two people. There are two twins and two doubles, complete with beds, lighting, a microwave, kettle and tea and coffee. Bedding is provided and there is a Smart TV and WiFi in the pods. Outside you'll have your own seating too. Dogs are more than welcome onsite as long as they are kept on the lead. Campfires are not allowed, BBQs are permitted when raised off the grass.
Blackbrook Lodge Caravanning, Camping and Glamping is open all year round in 2024 and 2025.
Facilities include toilets, hot showers, a pot washing area, freezer block for cool boxes, an onsite shop stocking basic essentials and onsite fishing.
For a good evening meal, The Cock Inn is a five minute drive away and as for supermarkets, there is a Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Lidl within a 15 minute drive.

We were due to stay at a different campsite for another night, but as our peace was shattered by a couple turning up with four different breeds of dog we decided to move! This campsite in comparison was lovely and quiet. We didn't get to see it in it's best light as it was raining for much of our stay, but we were met with a welcoming smile by the chap on reception. We were allowed to choose our location and on the grass field overlooking woodland was just perfect. The facilities were clean and warm, the shower had lots of hot water and an excellent flow. We will put this one in our notes to revisit next year. All in all a great find and we will return!

It's great if you want peace and quiet out in the sticks place. It has a small shop on site and you can rent out the fire pits. The shower and toilet blocks could do with some TLC.

Very nice campsite, will be visiting again for sure! Very helpful and friendly staff, welcoming and clean place. Nice little shop too.

Things to do on site and in the Belper area
Staying in the heart of the Peak District National Park will give you easy access to plenty to do. Hike or bike the Tissington trail from Ashbourne, just 15 minutes away or see the pretty river at Dovedale, just 25 minutes away.
There are two fishing ponds onsite fully stocked with carp, so bring your fishing gear!
A lovely day out would be National Trust Kedleston Hall estate just ten minutes away, a neo-classical house with stunning architecture and beautiful grounds.
