Wern Mill Caravan Park is nestled in the quiet countryside, five minutes outside of the seaside town of New Quay. The site welcomes tourers on spacious hardstanding pitches and a shepherd's hut, with access to a kid's play park and even a bar during peak times. Just a ten minute walk from the coast and Cei Bach Beach, it is an ideal location for a seaside getaway. During the summer, also be sure to pick up a boat trip to spot dolphins!

Although Wern Mill is surrounded by other sites, it's a jewel in the thorns. Perfectly situated for the beaches, walking, cycling, or whatever method of transport you use, its ideal matched. The site is incredibly clean and well maintained but still has a relaxed atmosphere which is a credit to the hosts. A small shop and a bar compliment the surrounding. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

Very nice little site, beautifully maintained & very clean. Small bar area really nice touch. A little noisy on Friday night but nothing serious.

This was definitely the best site we have stayed on. It is well kept and owners were really friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Even down to giving you a lift into New Quay for donation of £1 pp dogs free, never seen that before. They have immaculate toilets and showers and even had a dog wash to wash the dog off after being in the sea. Definitely would go back again if in that area.

Just one thing, on a service pitch for the money, a drain for grey water would beneficial. Be aware of some road noise. Shop well stocked, showers beautiful as is all the facilities on site. Even a cosy horse trailer bar available.

Wonderful, clean, welcoming and well kept site with excellent facilities and good sized pitches. The owner gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived and told us all we needed to know about the site and facilities etc. The outdoor bar is a bonus and they had a burger van one evening which was great! The toilet/shower block and pot washing area was a good size and very clean. A lovely, small and quiet site with a lovely walk to the beach and into Newquay. Our boys loved the play area and getting treats from the little shop! We will definitely be returning to this site in the future, it's one of our favourites!!
If caravan sites were beer it would be named ‘Carling’ probably the best campsite in the world

A beautiful well presented, spotlessly clean and pretty as a postcard park with owners who are willing to go more than the extra mile to make their park one of the best. The facilities are brilliant with even a 'dog washing' hut, a heated gazebo with a quirky bar that is open regularly and independent food businesses who take turns to sell food. We were here when the burger bar was present and it was scrumptious. The park itself is small enough to be personal but large enough to make you feel part of a community. The showers are spacious and the water red hot and the other areas eg washing up, grey water-waste disposal etc are all in pristine condition. The shop is well stocked and the owners will even ferry you to New Quay for a £1pp charitable donation. What more can I say. It is just the loveliest site with the most caring owners that we have ever stayed on.

Starting with the poor - access and exit is very narrow and bumpy. The showers, you have to press every five seconds! That's it! Lovely, very well kept site and clean. Amenities are good and the staff are friendly. Short drive into Newquay. Beach, if walking, was a 20 minute walk for us and not quite 10 minutes as specified elsewhere. The beach isn't great here, but you can walk around into Newquay where the small beaches are nice. Newquay is a very small old fishing village but lacks a decent cafe. Plenty of fish 'n' chips shops though. Worth a visit.

Really nice place, the lane is a bit narrow in places but I got down in a sprinter. Great greeting by the man in reception who gave me a choice of available pitches and furnished me with the WiFi log in (free too) and pointed out all facilities including a nice little on site bar. Facilities were spotless and never busy. Showers were hot and a decent size. Would highly recommend and hope to revisit in the future.

Lovely campsite and great location. No dog walk onsite, but it is only 500 yards or so down a very quiet road into a wooded area which then leads to the beach in Cardigan Bay. I was told you can walk along the beach to Newquay from here when the tide is out but we didn't do it. The owner of the site (Owen) could not be more hospitable and even gives lifts to people with no transport of their own into Newquay in exchange for a £1 donation to the Air Ambulance for the area. He will also pick you up as long as it is before 16.30pm. There is a dog wash facility onsite with constant warm water and a proper dog drier. The only thing missing for us, there was no washer and drier, that is why I marked the facilities at 4 star, but don't let that put you off it is a lovely, quiet and friendly site.

Great stopover for 2 nights. Great facilities. Everything first class. Our dog Cooper loved the walks and beach, which were not far from the site. Even a dog washing facility for dirty dogs. Wee shop there too. Staff were great.

Excellent site. Came to meet us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know, they were very pleasant and welcoming. The facilities were of high standard and clean and tidy. The site obviously had recently been updated and the walks down to the beach were beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble, would book it again.

Beautiful site, so clean and obviously cared for. Toilet block is immaculate with music in the background. Wifi is excellent, best we have had at any site. Lovely walk down the secluded lane with the small waterfall . At the end of the lane (10 mins walk) is a wooded area by the river and 2mins further to beach.
Lovely well run site, good sized hard standing pitches

Had a lovely stay here with family. Very friendly and helpful owners. Made to feel very welcome. Walked into Newquay across the beach which took about 45 minutes (checked the tide times first). There is a road route too, and the site also offers to drive people for a small fee (£1 pp) which is great. Toilets and washing facilities are very clean. There is a little bar on site open in the evenings and a fish and chip van came on site Saturday evening. We were very lucky to have good weather so enjoyed the sun all weekend. Looking forward to returning again and possibly in the wintertime.
Nice couple of days.
