Peaceful and idyllic, your next rural break in the Cotswolds is right here. The Blackberries Camping Park is the place to try pitches in beautiful countryside, unbeatable golf and a great range of glamping options. It's perfect for all the family, teeming with wildlife and just a short hop from Bath's Roman attractions.
About The Blackberries Camping Park
Far from whizzing roads and yet only four miles from Bath, this is a base for all your adventures. Pretty Monkton Farleigh offers village amenities just a short stroll from site. Lacock, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge and Stonehenge are all in reach for days out. Spread out at large, level pitches which include both hardstandings and grassed areas, each with a fire pit. These are well spaced, so that you have plenty of privacy and can really relax. Glam getaway? You've plenty of choice here, with cosy pods and hassle free shepherd's huts all offering an ideal alternative if you'd rather not bring the tent. It's all that great outdoorsy feeling but with electric, lighting and a comfortable bed supplied. If you're bringing a group on a country retreat or a family break, a bell tent will suit you down to the ground. They sleep up to six and include bedding, mattresses for a great night's sleep and your own private camping cooker and fridge. Free from light pollution, the site is a haven for wildlife nightlife, in fact an ancient and well protected bat colony has its nest at Browns Folly, nearby. You'll never be short of encounters with the natural world here, nor fresh blackberry bushes. Sorry, dogs cannot stay in the glamping accommodation but are welcome to join you camping.
