About Corn Bwch Campsite
Set on the outskirts of St. Asaph and close to the A55, the Rawson family welcome you to their rural camping and glamping site. There are 18 level non-electric grass pitches available on this tent only site. The pitches spread across 3.5 acres of a converted pony paddock with ample space to relax and enjoy. For a more luxurious camping experience, why not opt for one of two bell tents in an exclusive area of the site. Each off-grid, the furnished tent comes complete with a double bed, warm cozy bedding and fairy lights for a romantic touch. Additional camp beds can be provided for children if required (maximum occupancy of two adults and two children). Each bell tent has it's own picnic bench, covered BBQ area and own fire pit with a complimentary bag of logs (additional wood can be purchased onsite). If staying in a bell tent, you have access to a shared wooden cabin (again off grid) with a range of kitchen facilities such as a camping stove, kettle, crockery and cutlery. All you need to bring are your own towels, a torch and some warm clothing in case the evenings get cool. You'll be treated to views of the Clwydian Hills and are within easy reach of many North Wales' attractions. Explore Snowdonia, the coastal towns of Rhyl and Prestatyn (15-minute drive), Conwy and Llandudno (30 minutes) as well as Chester and Liverpool (less than 1 hour away). A maximum of two dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. No dogs permitted in the bell tents regrettably.
The site is open for May half term, weekends in June and July and for the school summer holidays.

A 15-20 minute drive can get you to the beaches of Rhyl, Prestatyn and Towyn, perfect for a day out at the seaside. Or have fun in the River Elwy that runs through the smallest cathedral city of St. Asaph, just five minutes in the car - excellent for cooling off on a warm day, circular river walks, bowling green, children's play area, football pitches, tennis courts etc.
Llandudno, the 'Queen of the Welsh Resorts', is just a little further up the coast with its Alice in Wonderland trail at Happy Valley, cable cars, artificial ski slope and more and Conwy, nearby, that boasts a spectacular mediaeval castle, a lovely quayside and is famous for the 'smallest house in Britain'
Take a trip to Llangollen, via the Horse Shoe Pass. Home to the Eisteddfod, this is a popular tourist location where you can take a canal barge ride, try white water rafting or kayaking on the River Dee or visit Dinas Bran Castle that overlooks the town (50 minutes).
If you're happy to drive a little further, Portmeirion is a must (about an hour), an Italian styled village at Penrhydeudrath. Spectacular views and the film location for 'The Prisoner'
Closer to home, head to Bodelwyddan Castle with its museums, lovely outdoor maze, beautiful gardens, bird hides and play area. Or Gwrych Castle, famed location of I'm a Celebrity in 2020/21 (both within 15 minute drive).
