Great park. Would have given 5 stars on cleanliness, but the first day was a bit ropey. But that was down to the fact that they had some pretty nasty weather up until we arrived, so there was mud everywhere, Not their fault, but you tell it how you see it. You can get cheaper sites, but even though it was a bit over the odds price wise, it suited me and obviously a lot of others as the site was quite busy even with the weather being not that good. And you get what you pay for. Apart from that, the staff were really friendly and nothing was too much for them to deal with. I would certainly go there again. It was perfectly located for what I wanted to do. Thanks to all the team. Really enjoyed our stay. First time I have gone camping and stayed the full duration, so that's got to say something for them. And the weather which we got lucky on. I am sure I will visit again in the years to come.

Wet weather made the field waterlogged and muddy. Could do with better drainage. Reasonably good facilities. Friendly staff.

What can we say, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left the owners and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, and that goes from top to bottom. We didn't want to leave and would definitely return 😊 Perfect location for all the local attractions and plenty of pubs and places to eat including onsite. Our first trip away in our campervan and if all trips are like this one, then fantastic!!
Amazing, can't fault

A great freewheeling camping place with fantastic campsite deliveries including fire braziers and ice cream on a bike. Jules the host is charming and full of help and enthusiasm. A quick walk or cycle to Cheddar or the car boot sale.
Best campsite I’ve been to!

What a great campsite! The showers and toilets were the best I've been to on a campsite. Really friendly staff. My car battery went dead on the day I was leaving and the helpful staff managed to give me a hand. A good selection of fields for all types of people. Family, adult and quiet.

The campsite itself was lovely - well looked after and great facilities. However, the whole team at the campsite are brilliant. They went above and beyond in every way and couldn't have made our stay any more enjoyable. Absolute credits to the site, thank you!

Staff very helpful, friendly, informative and obviously enjoy their job. Woke up to a flat battery and the staff were happy to help with jump leads. Location and scenery were perfect, will definitely be back.

Only stayed for one night. Was our first trip of the year in our VW. Never heard of this site before, but what a lovely hidden gem! Staff (Abby) were really friendly and helpful, also able to lend us a cable that we needed. Lovely big site with lots to do in the surrounding areas. Will 100% return.

Not masses of hard standing but plenty of space and a great location for exploring Cheddar. It was clean, quiet and family friendly. Can’t wait to go back when it’s not raining!

Lovely welcome, very friendly and accommodating. I had originally booked one night, but Jules took me for another night on a different pitch, and when I arrived, I was given the same pitch for both nights! Good facilities, most closed in February but sufficient open for few campers there. Mostly grass pitches, but I had hardstanding. Easy walk into Cheddar and the Gorge.

Very spacious campsite which meant the family camping was quiet. Rough play area was really fun but more to play on would be great. Toilets and showers great, the individual rooms were kept fairly clean even in the bad weather. Decent coffee and breakfast in the little cafe.

We were looking for a last minute trip away and came across Petruth Paddocks, we loved the sound of the 'Free Range' campsite through the website so decided to book. We arrived early Friday evening and was immediately greeted by Tom who was super friendly and clearly explained everything, after which he escorted us to the adult's camping field, where we were able to decide where we wanted to pitch up. There were a few large groups booked in so having the option where to pitch was amazing. The facilities on the campsite were one of the best I have ever seen, the toilets and showers were always immaculate, stocked up with look roll etc. There is a little hut serving tasty breakfast rolls in the morning and then fresh pizzas in the evening, which was handy as we didn't pack a BBQ etc. The vibes on the site were really relaxed and chilled, staying in the adults field there was an 11pm music curfew and even though there were some large groups, there was enough room between pitches to be able to switch off. Cheddar is just a stones throw away, so plenty to do and see, there's also a massive car boot / market just behind the campsite on Sunday which was nice for a little stroll before going home. All in all, a great weekend :)
An ideal location in Somerset!

A lovely site with great toilet and shower facilities, lots of space for the kids to play and good size electric pitches. Only suggestion would be to have the pizza shack open more throughout the week as it opened from Wednesday, we didn't have much time to benefit from it. A lovely, basic site in an ideal location to explore Somerset. The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help.

Lovely site, very well run. Only one small niggle which was they closed too many toilets at once for cleaning.

Arrived on the hottest weekend of 2022, great spot in the corner of the adult field (no electric). Conveniently placed drinking water taps dotted around, and excellent toilet and shower blocks not too far away. Coffee bar and pizzas were an awesome addition, plus the rental fire pits and ice from reception. Cheddar Yeo not too far away which even on a hot day was manageable with the dog.
Friendly site with good facilities

Great place to stay, all facilities are clean and the people there couldn't be any more helpful or nicer. Only a 10 minute walk to Cheddar Gorge. Local shops too.
