Worfe Camping is situated in rural Shropshire, offering a sustainable and eco-friendly stay, 15 minutes from historic Ironbridge. Located within a 48 acre working farm, the site is a haven for walkers, cyclists and those who simply enjoy the pure beauty of the countryside.

About Worfe Camping

A great location for getting back to nature, without compromising your home comforts. Guests can enjoy wildlife spotting by the River Worfe, exploring picturesque walking routes or nearby attractions such as Blists Hill Victorian Town and Royal Air Force Museum Midlands, both within a 15 minute drive. The site owners have done their utmost to try and create a premium experience for guests to create memories to last a lifetime. Therefore, each pitch comes with its own eco ensuite facilities including a compost loo, hot shower and washing up area. For evenings under the stars, you will also have a fire pit and unlimited firewood. There are a total of eight pitches onsite, four suitable for tents, and two for campervans. Up to six guests are permitted per pitch, with plenty of space for everyone to unwind and soak up the glorious countryside views. The other two pitches are suitable for single night stays for tents, trailer tents and campervans and they have access to the communal facilities. Access to WiFi, a freezer and charging can also be found in the tack room. The main site is a car-free zone, though access for unpacking and packing up is permitted. Up to two dogs can also join you for your stay. All dogs must be kept on the lead at all times. The Telegraph has also previously named the site in its top 25 campsites in Britain! This site is part of the Greener Camping Club, therefore, at least one guest per pitch must be a member. If you're not already a member, the small membership fee can easily be added to your booking. Being a member allows you access to more than 150 of the UK's most eco-friendly campsites.

Worfe Camping is open from 01/05 to 30/09 in 2024 and from 18/04 to 30/09 in 2025.


Facilities and amenities

Each pitch has its own eco loo, warm shower, washing up area and fire pit with wood provided. There is also an allocated freezer. charging point and WiFi in the tack room.

Beckbury Community Shop is also a five minute drive away for picking up any essentials, including the site's own sausages. The Smokey cow restaurant is also a five minute drive away for something to eat.

Check-in is between 4pm and 8pm. Departure is before 11am.

Yes, two dogs are allowed per pitch. Please note, breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.

Open fires are only permitted in the provided raised fire pits. Barbecues must also be raised off the ground. Disposable BBQ's are not allowed.
