We're just starting out in our new Motorhome. Booked two nights and now on our second day have booked two more nights and there's no rush to return home. This is a beautiful location and fairly quiet now that the school holidays are over. We haven't had a chance to explore yet but just love being in this quiet and peaceful rural environment.

The perfect spot to camp for 2 days, under the trees with ponies wandering around. Other campers respectful and quiet after 9.30pm, plenty of facilities checked regularly. Plenty to do in the area. We'll be back.

This is a lovely place to stay, the area to pitch in is flat, there are lots of access roads winding around, and you pick your own spot. The toilet and shower blocks were clean and warm. The site was quiet after ten. The only thing that woke me up was people throwing glass into the recycling bin but thatโs just the odd person not thinking about their actions. Everyone I chatted to was lovely. Ponies and cows wander through the site so be aware of that! The only time I talked to any staff was at check in but they were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Perfect for what we needed. Good washing and toilet facilities. Lots of space. Family friendly. Horses meandering. Great bike rides through the forest straight from the campsite. We biked to Beaulieu and Bayleys Hard and back. Lovely ๐

We just loved this site bordering onto open fields with New Forest ponies roaming. Fairly short walk from centre of Brockenhurst with many pubs/ restaurants (Enzo pizzeria by the station; Dynasty Indian curry house two we used). We camped with the dog and once we had parked up we didn't use the car again until we left - walked everywhere and there is a lot to walk and see. Really friendly site with good showers and clean toilet facilities. A shop on site with a few essentials would have been useful but you can get anything in Brockenhurst.

The setting is beautiful with views across the forest and land with lots of ponies and cows who happily wander round the campsite. It is summer holidays and so we were expecting it to be busy and it was. We unfortunately couldn't get there until 6pm on the Friday and so didn't get a choice of pitches which meant we ended up under a very bright security light, which was a shame. Also, right next to a very busy and noisy road (even through the night). So would recommend you get there early to get a good pitch. Otherwise, was a lovely site with really helpful staff, clean and plentiful facilities and easy access to lovely walks and 15 mins to 3 local pubs.

We had an amazing stay at Hollands Wood, we had a brilliant time away. Lovely, big site and like the idea of finding your own pitch. Only downside was how busy it got as we were leaving, it was too crowded in our opinion. Lastly, it is close to the main road, so traffic is heard quiet a lot. However, this aside, we will definitely be going back as we had a brilliant holiday and it was good value for money.

We stayed here for one night and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Welcoming staff who were clear with site regulations. Site was lovely and facilities were extremely clean. Location was nice and quiet and only a 20 minute walk from Brockenhurst town centre, where we enjoyed a lovely meal in The Snakecatcher and a drink in the Foresters Arms. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended to friends and family.

We stayed 2 nights with our VW Camper. The location is amazing set amongst beautiful trees right on the edge of the forest in a very natural setting. Hollands Wood is a large site with many spots to pitch. Nice clean showers with hot water, loos were clean and well kept and pot wash areas has super hot and plenty of space, none of the facilities ever seemed to be crowded despite a busy weekend at the site. New Forest wild ponies and cows wander through the site and that makes this place is quite unique. Even though it was busy, lots of families and small groups, the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Kids were all having a great time, the site backs onto Balmer Lawns which is a huge open space to walk and play, plenty of great dog walking too. The pitches were quiet, felt enclosed and had plenty of space. There are some lovely forest hikes accessed directly from the site, Brokenhurst just 15mins walk and Lyndhurst 10min drive. Overall a beautiful site, we'll be back for sure. This is definitely one of our favourite sites. Thank you.

After a long and hot drive we had to queue and wait whilst each driver was explained the very thorough rules of the site. I thought that this was a bit of overkill and could be done away with, as you are given a sheet of all of the do's and don'ts, there are many signs explaining the do's and don'ts around the site and the staff that regularly patrol the site remind you of the do's and don'ts also. Even after this, there were still some fools that fed the ponies, stroked the ponies, let their dogs off their leads around the site, parked too close to others and had wood fires. There is no cure for silly! Despite all of this, we had a wonderful time and the site is very clean and well kept. One of the toilet blocks had to close on our last day as they did not have enough staff to maintain it, slightly annoying as it was the closest to us! Not a big deal though. There are many great walks directly from the site and most was gravelled providing easy access for wheeled vehicles and buggies. We would stay again and recommend to others for sure.

Nice site and close enough to walk into Brockenhurst. Only rule for pitching tents is to be 6m away from next tent/van/caravan, some people do not stick to this rule and that would be my only complaint.
We love it here!

We always have an amazing stay here. Such a great location, plenty of space and great clean facilities. We had an issue with a very loud and late group, but the staff handled it the best they could and did all they could for us!

Beautiful stay for 3 nights, a bit of a soggy start but the forested campsite certainly lifted our spirits. Facilities are everything you need and there is plenty of space between pitches.
