About Zambuka Campsite

Located in the glorious Dorset Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty, you will be spoilt for choice with beautiful spots to explore. Spend days discovering the South West Coast Path, just a 25 minute walk from the site, or relaxing on one of the many nearby beaches, you will be spoilt for choice! This small, adult only site is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. There are just seven grass and hardstanding pitches onsite, each allowing tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. Each pitch permits up to four guests, with the option of an electric hook up which is metered and payable onsite. From your pitch you will be able to enjoy wonderful panoramic views across the countryside and coastline, making it a great spot for watching the sunset with a cold beer. The site is also just off the A353, so there may be a little road noise, but this does mean amazing access to some of the Jurassic Coast's wonderful towns and attractions. Four-legged friends are also more than welcome to join you for your stay. There are many dog friendly beaches nearby including Bowleaze Cove only ten minutes away, so they can stretch their legs and get their paws sandy too! Raised BBQs are also welcome, ideal for nights in the open. Please note, campfires are not allowed, sorry. Please note, during October to March the hot water will be on only in the morning between 8-10am.

She will also point you in the direction of what to see and do in the surrounding countryside, even for your most pressing question, including where to get the nicest fish and chips locally!

FAQ

Guests are welcome to check-in between 1pm and 9pm from June to November. Check-in is available between 1pm and 6pm in November and December. Check out is due before noon on your last day.

Yes, four-legged friends are welcome to join you on your stay. There are many dog friendly beaches nearby including Bowleaze Cove only ten minutes away, so they can stretch their legs and get their paws sandy too!

Sorry, BBQs and campfires are not allowed.

Situated perfectly on the Jurassic coast, just 15 minutes away is Durdle Door and Weymouth.

Guests can bring an awning or gazebo for a small fee. Pup tents are not permitted.


You will be spoilt for choice with things to do. The breathtaking Durdle Door is only 15 minutes away, famous for its spectacular scenery and wonderful Man O'War Beach. You can also enjoy wonderful views from the clifftop, a great spot for a picnic.

If you are wanting to enjoy some shopping, discover some local eateries or simply have fun on some seaside attractions, Weymouth is only 15 minutes away. You can visit the Sea Life Centre or see one of the shows at Weymouth Pavilion.

Dogs are also well catered for. The wonderful Dorset countryside boasts many great spots for walks, including around the Osmington White Horse (10 minutes). There are also many dog friendly beaches nearby, including Bowleaze Cove (10 minutes).
