Little Rodmore Camping is a quiet little haven set on a family farm in the heart of the Blackmore Vale. Join the abundance of wildlife here, including deers and rabbits, from your grass pitch situated in a tranquil hay meadow suitable for tents and campervans.
About Little Rodmore Camping
Spend your nights away from the hustle and bustle at this peaceful and rural site offering an almost wild camping experience alongside refreshingly back to basics facilities. The pitches onsite are located within the nine acre hay meadow and are set on grass suited for tents and small campervans. They're unmarked too, allowing you to pitch up wherever you fancy. Four legged friends welcome!

Site rules and policies
* Please keep dogs on a lead to protect our wildlife.
* Campfires are welcome but during particuarly dry weather may be prohibited for safety reasons (please use firepits provided).
* During particuarly wet weather vehicles (excepts small campervans) may be prohibited from the field to prevent damage to the ground.
* Please respect other campers.
Things to do on site and in the Sturminster Newton area
At peak times. the site offer a hot takeaway service where you can tuck into breakfast/dinner snacks. Pop to Bishop's Caundle for groceries.
Just a stone's throw from the site are a number of local farms selling fresh produce including eggs, bread and milk.
There are a network of footpaths nearby taking you to a number of beauty spots in the area including the spectacular Jurassic Coast.
Beaches in the area include:
- Weymouth (25 miles) - a traditional seaside town with a long stretched sandy beach.
- Osmington (25 miles) - a rocky beach with a good dog friendly pub and lovely coastal walks.
- Ringstead Bay (26 miles) - a pebble and shingle beach known for its natural environment and fossils.
- Durdle Door and Man 'O' War (29 miles) - part of the Lulworth estate, adjoining sand and shingle beaches famous for the magnificent sandstone arch and crystal waters.
- Chesil Beach (28 miles) - vast shingle beach famous for fossils.
- Lulworth Cover (30 miles) - a natural horseshoe cove scattered with little boats, with local pubs and shops nearby. Good for coastal walks.
- West Bay (32 miles) - large shingle beach with small harbour and town with shops, restaurants and cafes. Good for crabbing and fish and chips.
- Studland Bay (34 miles) - a 2.5 mile stretch of sandy beach, dunes and heathland part of the nature reserve.
