A very enjoyable stay in fairly poor weather. The site is great, with loads of room and very well equipped facilities. Shower block was pretty new, well maintained and very clean. My only criticism was in the provision of chemical toilet waste disposal, with only one disposal point (that I saw) for all touring caravans and motorhomes, which meant quite a walk, but this was a very minor issue. Overall, very good, but be careful with access from the main road which is hilly and has some sharp bends and lots of parked cars.
Excellent touring and static park

Excellent site, top class. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in our Motorhome at Hele. Our pitch was very large and fully serviced. The facilities were very nice and clean. The site had wonderful different types of foliage and hedging and there was a large children's play area on site, with plenty of different play items. There were plenty of statics on site as well, with large decking's and plenty of plants. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back again in the future for a longer stay.

Nice tidy site! Small beach/pub within 10min walk, slightly longer uphill walk into Ilfracombe town (around half hour). Longer if you stop off at the nice thatched pub for a little refresher! The site facilities were basic, push button showers. You are asked to sweep the wet floor after showering which not everyone did, so they can be quite wet before you start. The shower room was not very warm, although the water temp was fine. It was nice to have a toilet, sink and shower in the one cubicle, although the shower cubicle could do with some shelving to place items on rather than using the floor, and maybe an extra hook for hanging clothing/towel, also no grab rails if required. There was a bench in the cubicle. Friendly staff who gave information on arrival about local places to visit.

Lovely, tidy campsite. Very clean toilets. Only problem was all water taps were set too low and couldn't take the round barrels for caravans. We saw people filling water barrels with lemonade bottles or small containers, it was difficult and so slow.
Very quiet and clean site

We went here with our motorhome. If you're coming down the main road (hill) with the site on the right, I would advise to continue to the pub on the corner and do a U turn so you're turning left down the little hill. Once at the site, you notice straight away how clean and well presented the site is. Lovely, friendly welcome where I was given maps of the local area and instructions to my pitch. Facilities all spotless, well recommended for anyone wanting a lovely, peaceful stay in a beautiful site.

Staff very welcoming on arrival. Site immaculately clean. Toilet block excellent with nice warm showers, lovely farmhouse café at the end of site for home cooked breakfast. Bus at bottom of road or it's a hilly 20 minute walk into the town. Couldn't fault anything about the site, we just wished we stayed longer to explore further afield, well recommended.
Great campsite, very friendly staff

The campsite is walking distance from Ilfracombe centre, also the coastal walk which is an uphill climb, but worth the visit. Just for the views. The campsite is well-run by professional staff, who immediately make you welcome. Toilet blocks and showers were very clean and well thought-out, they have toilets, showers and handwash basins in the shower cubicles. I would certainly recommend this site for a great stay.

This campsite was within walking distance to Ilfracombe, coastal path, beach and pub. The shower/toilet block was very clean and secure. The whole site was well laid out and very clean, the people in reception were very helpful. We had great weather during our stay, we visited Lundy island and explored the area, which is stunning.

Very good. Spotless toilet block. Park is very well kept. Walk to the beach took about 30 minutes from the van where it was pitched. Bus stops will take you to local beaches.
Lovely site, well maintained with spotless facilities

Lovely, well maintained site. Spotless facilities. Our standard pitch was a generous size. Lovely nature trail walk that dropped down into the village. The beach is small but pretty. Bus stop just outside the site. We used the bus most days.

We had a lovely stay here, campsite is spotless and well maintained. Showers, toilets and washing up facilities were always spotless. Staff were friendly. We used the bus service a couple of times to take the stress out of parking in Barnstable and Ilfracombe, which was £2 each journey. We chose to go Mackerel fishing and that was a highlight of our holiday. Lots of nice places to eat out at Ilfracombe. Great path into Ilfracombe via the costal path.

Compact pod in a great location with lovely staff. A few coat hooks would be useful, as it was wet and would have been good to hang coats up. The pod was small but fine and had a small kitchen and en-suite, so was great for a short stay. The local beach was an easy walk away and the local pub had a good variety of food and nice staff.

The site was really good. On arrival at reception, I was given lots of information to make my stay enjoyable. The pitches were excellent and well laid out. The only minor criticism I had was that the shower head on the showers were about seven feet up the wall, and by the time the water reached me, it was quite cool. Everything else was excellent.

Just had a 3 night stay in 'Conkers' (the studio pod with a hot tub) and had a thoroughly great time. The pod itself in superbly equipped with everything you need for a much longer stay than ours. Full kitchen, fridge, bathroom facilities and the team even included extras like an iron, hairdryer, foil, washing up liquid/sponges etc and biscuits! The hot tub is a great addition and felt very clean. The site itself is very well kept, clean and tidy, and the staff are great. Would definitely stay again. The site itself is around 20 mins from Ilfracombe harbour, which is quite a hilly walk both ways (up and down). It is actually only 5 mins from Hele beach, a charming, quiet spot with a licenced café and beach.
Fantastic stay!

Such a lovely little stay for my partner and I for a couple days, the cabin was fantastic and my partner certainly loved the hot tub! I would say if you're planning to stay longer than a couple of days, the laundry facilities are separate so just something to consider for when you're choosing. At £90 a night, for what we got was a steal. We will be back!

Lovely, quiet site surrounded by trees. The facilities were immaculate and the staff very friendly and very helpful. Walking distance from a little beach, which had a fantastic cafe. There is also a Spar shop on route to the beach. The toilet/shower block were immaculately clean and very modern. You have a code to get in which means only campers can use. Pitch was big and serviced. The site itself was well maintained trained and a children's area for young and older children. Warm welcome when we arrived. Lovely and dark at night time, not too brightly lit. Loved our time here chilling. Just what we needed after coming from a very large campsite. Just wish we were there longer!

Great site and location. About a mile from Ilfracombe easy walk along the road or a slightly longer route and hilly along the coastal path but worth it for the views. Great site with thoughtful additional facilities like a dog washing station and wet suit washing. Great toilet and shower facilities nice and clean. Although the weather was cold for June and the rain arrived later in the week we still had a great time!

What a lovely site this is! The grounds are kept very well and we had a warm welcome when we checked in. Toilet/shower block is very clean and well looked after. If you want peace and quiet, this is for you. Just a shame about the rain at times but this didn't spoil it for us 😊

Everything was spotless, great facilities but could perhaps benefit from a small shop offering produce from the local area and other camping groceries such as ice, charcoal, newspapers, local ciders/beers etc.
