Myself, my partner and our baby had the most beautiful stay here, the staff where so friendly and kind, even left a little Easter surprise for our little one. It had everything you needed, especially for us with a child - a park, baby change, microwave, very clean bathroom area. Campsite is very close to loads of towns and beaches. We will definitely coming back.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, facilities were clean and tidy, the majority of guests were friendly too. We even had a visit from the Easter bunny, which was a nice touch. A shame about the weather.
Really peaceful, good quality amenities

We stayed 2 nights as part of a week long campervan holiday, the warden met us on arrival and was really friendly and helpful, showed us to our pitch which was really nicely maintained. The pitches are separated by a nice variety of plants and hedging and plenty of space. One thing to note - the pitches up the side of the site can be a bit uneven to reverse into, so take it steady! The toilet/shower/wash-up block was kept spotless, the showers were nice and hot and the cubicles were a good size. Everyone we met was friendly, it seemed there was a good mix of holidaymakers and people living there all year round which was nice. The location of the site is handy for Par/St Austell, Lost Gardens of Heligan and there is a decent beach within walking distance. Our favourite beach was at Gorran Haven - small but beautiful and dogs ok off lead after 30th Sept. Excellent wood-fired pizza at Salty Bay Pizza Company - a short drive from the site, on a business park NE of St Austell - absolutely delicious! Noise - there was some noise from the main road and there was also train noise occasionally as the line isn't too far away. But nothing to spoil the atmosphere - the loudest noise you will probably hear is the owls at night but that's part of the appeal π

Had a wonderful stay, the site is organised, the facilities are clean and excellent, all you would need. Location is brilliant, easy access to beaches and towns. We hired a car from Cornwall car hire, which was great. It meant we were able to see a lot more of beautiful Cornwall... Would definitely recommend this campsite and will definitely return...π

I can not recommend this holiday park enough, it was my first time camping & I am so glad I chose this site to stay at. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The facilities were clean, safe & in full working order. The location was 20 minute walk to the nearest beach. The showers were lovely and hot, the grass around the site was well maintained, rubbish was cleaned daily, I felt very safe leaving the tent while I went out for the day. They have a microwave, small freezer, kettle and huge chess on the lawn game. They also have a shop with a huge variety of items from milk, snacks, bread etc. They even have a breakfast/lunch menu at certain times of the day serving pizza, paninis and ice cream. The pond has a few ducks that are very friendly. I would totally stay here again. I can not fault it. It was lovely and quiet and you can hear the birds/owls. I saw a few rabbits enjoying the morning dawn. There is a daily notice board that shows the weather of the day, sunrise/set and tide times so you can plan your day accordingly. I have to say thanks to the wonderful staff for maintaining the holiday park. They made my first camping trip very memorable. Hats off to you!!

I would recommend this highly to anyone who wants a quieter stay. No trouble from other residents or bother from the staff (which I love as we were just left to it). The only downside is the shack isn't open in the evenings apart from on Friday and Saturday.

Amber greeted us and couldn't have been more welcoming, everyone else we encountered was lovely too. Pizza at The Shack was great. The pitch felt private with natural hedging screening, but there was still a friendly atmosphere around the camp. The treasure hunt was great fun, my 6 year old loved it. The facilities are really good, everything provided for. We'll be booking again!

Fantastic little campsite with beautiful surroundings and a short walk to the beach and Eden Project. Very clean and tidy facilities. Food from the shack was also good (great pizzas!). Only thing that let it down was the shop as it needed a lot more British home comforts - essentials such as camping stove gas, heinz beans, Robinsons squash and good quality branded items or local meats, (but each to their own- just remember to pack all your home comforts!).

Perfect site with great connections to everything you'd need or want. 5 minute drive to Eden Project, supermarkets within a 10 minute drive, half hour walk to the beach, and close to bus stops and Par station for links to the rest of Cornwall. Facilities cannot be faulted - clean toilet block with hot showers. On-site shop with all the essentials and hot food. We were on an electric hookup grass pitch. Pitch was a decent size, only issue we had was the soil under the grass was quite gravelly/rocky so made getting pegs in a bit difficult but not impossible - would recommend bringing a mallet and strong pegs. Electric hookup worked a treat and the pitches were divided with hedges for privacy. Staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful. Overall a really enjoyable stay and will be recommending the site to friends and family.

All in all a good campsite. Only criticisms would be to have lighting around the campsite, as at night you can't see where you are going and add more water taps, as one tap to supply the camp isn't good at all.

Great place to stay in an amazing location. We stayed for a week and it was one of the best campsites we've stayed at. Toilets and showers are extremely clean.

The site staff are very accommodating and really helpful in advice and knowledge about the area, which was great. Shower and toilet facilities are good, pitches are a decent size but the whole area could do with a tidy up, it didn't really look like the photos. The site shop has very limited stock, which was a shame. The site is quiet but there is road noise late at night and early morning. If you have a car and want to drive out, this is a great site to use as a base, but if you like to leave your van on site then it is about a 30 min walk to a shop or pub and 45/50 min walk to the nearest town. There is a bus but we didn't see it. Good Access to Carlyon bay beach, 20min walk or few minutes in car. With a few tweaks and some attention to pitches, this site has the potential to be very good.

Great campsite. We found our pitch to have privacy, which is a godsend with a very inquisitive 2 year old π All the facilities were kept clean and tidy. The site had a lovely area called grumpy pond, which we enjoyed exploring. The wardens on site were always helpful with any queries and very welcoming. Would recommend.
